This is the fanciest script I have ever seen on any emblematic door knob. Circa 1910 bronze exterior door knob that looks to end with a B and not sure of the other two letters but the center letter looks to be a U and the first letter either an L. S or P. Knob takes a 3/8" spindle and knob is in nice condition with a few dings on the side of the knob that is 2-1/4" in diameter.

I have a very nice hard to find. Matching pair of large recessed slide bolts for your consideration. Floral geometric Eastlake patterning. Unsure of pattern and manufacturer. Slides work nicely and stay seated for engagement. Nice large Brass ornate knobs on each. Looks like the original copper Jappanning would clean nicely. Looks like some old varnish has protected it over the years. Original black paint is in nice condition. 1/2 inch round slide. Fabricating a catch wouldn't be hard since most any flat stock would work. Original plates are gone. Measures 8 x 1 3/16 inches. Corner return is 1 5/16 inches deep. Here is a great old painted entry door w/glass that was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's or 30's. All of the hardware is included: 3) surface-mounted hinges and complete lockset(minus key) This type of door is really not well-suited for exterior use. They were typically found inside of a covered porch or entry as this one was. The glass pane is fully intact with no cracks or breaks. It is flat glass with no bevels or ornamentation. Both sides of the door are painted, one side is white and the other has a faux-finish that's supposed to look like wood. There are a few nicks and gouges throughout, but these could ... moreeasily be addressed if the door was to be painted. The 1930’s Stanley Works catalog has 24 pages, in very-good condition. And 4 th catalog is 1930’s it’s sort of an association type catalog. They say it’s from several hardware manufactures such as Corbin McKinney, Russell, Schlage, Sergeants and a few others. 8 pages in good condition. Guaranteed 100% original.
