Interesting Vintage Tin w Latch Emboss Maroon & Metallic Gold Western Germany
Vintage Tin in Maroon and Gold This vintage tin is unique and lovely. Rectangular in shape with a latch in front and highly embossed details. The tin is an intense maroon or scarlet color, with details in metallic gold. The lid is hinged, and the tin stands on four squared feet. Made in Western Germany. The tin has some vintage wear and patina. There are a few small areas of wear. Some light scratches and scuffs, some light handling marks and soiling, some minor dents and dings, etc. The latch is worn to mostly silver now. And engages fine. Patch of rust and black staining at one corner of interior. A few other dark spots on the inside of tin. Some spotting on the bottom. Some warping on bottom, as tin does not sit completely flat. You are looking at a vintage pyrex glass combination door and latch from the 1920's. One is marked as you can see in the pictures"Pyrex. Made in the USA. The other marking on the one piece is the patent number"1,700,000" The other pieces are not marked however they came out of the same box from an estate sale. These would be good for restoring an older house with original parts. If you will google the patent number of this item you will find diagrams and detailed uses for these pieces. All the springs seem to be intact and work. A little sticky on a couple. I am uncertain of there age although my guess would have been from a wooden built in cabinet or cupboard door from the late 20's early 30's. They have a deco pattern on handles. Nicely, these appear to have had a flush strikeplate application so you will be able to find something that would work more easily. Hand Forged Blacksmith Gate Latch Door Handle Set Rustic Antique Vintage Look
This is a nice set of gate or door hardware. Includes a handle which measures 7" long. A latch measuring 5" and two staples which are approximately 1" x 2.25" All pieces were hand forged in a blacksmith shop on our farm using antique methods; a coal fire, an anvil and hammers and other hand tools, just as these pieces would have been made a century or more ago. Will add a rustic touch anywhere they are used. The staples are used with the latch- one in the round end to secure it. The other on the other side of door/gate for the hooked end. We recommend pre-drilling holes for these when installing.

Vintage 1960s Max Klein Sewing Box, Green Faux Wood, bronze color latch & hinges
This is a vintage. Max Klein sewing box, green faux wood, with bronze colored latch and hinges. It measures 14.75"x10"x9" and is in great shape, except for a tiny spot of white paint on the handle and the handle on the inside tray is broken in the middle. This is a great traditional style retro sewing box. Check out the pictures. These are no reserve auctions, so one bid could buy it! Large lot cast iron antique rim surface locks vintage door catch latch hardware
nice large lot of some hard to find old rim locks for your consideration. M.W.Co. New Haven. Yale, Brandford Lock Works. All are in good condition with no cracks or breaks in the boxes or catches. 6 rim locks and 5 catches in this lot. There are three passage and three privacy where two have slide bolts and one is keyed. I do not have the key for this rim. Maybe a hard to find part for your renovation? Nice collector lot.
