Vintage Wicker Creel with Patent Number Stamped on the Latch ~ 18" wide
Offering this vintage wicker creel with a patent number stamped onto the latch. Measuring 18”wide. 8” tall and about 8” front to back the wicker is in wonderful overall condition. As mentioned the most intriguing feature on this creel is the patent number which is stamped onto the latch in black ink. There is a chip right through the middle of the stamp so the full number is unknown to me, 208-564 is all that is legible. The lid opens, closes and latches perfectly. The great condition of this creel makes this a fun one to represent. Right out of a recent estate and offered with no reserve have some fun with this one.

1915 Embossed Cast Iron Handle Antique Lever Steampunk Vintage Steel Gate Latch
I have a very cool antique door catch. This thing is in super patinaed condition. Where are you going to find another one of these with all of the original hardware still intact? Everything works great. The handle is 5 inches long and the whole mechanism measures six inches. Someone long ago had the foresight to save this from certain disposal hell. This would make an ideal swing gate mechanism or lift top lock.

Vintage 4" Wooden Starback Fishing Reel. Heaton Latch
I have for sale a Heaton. 4" Wooden Nottingham style, Centrepin Fishing Reel. The reel has a star shaped back with a ratchet button mounted on the star. The reel is in good overall condition with some scratches and marks to the wood. You are seeing the reel in the same condition as I received it. Some treatment with a good wood polish will bring this up well. The reel is a good runner. It has a 4 screw Heaton locking latch, twin handles and a stabilised ratchet guide. The star shaped back was introduced as a means of preventing the wooden back from warping. The guided ratchet plate was a further development to stop the ratchet spring from jumping off the pawl. Carved Wooden Box This is a unique wood box. It has a famous picture decoupaged on it's top. The front has a beautiful floral carving. The box is fairly lite in weight and the wood appears somewhat soft so I am guessing it is cedar. But the smell is very faint so I am not positive. Blue liner is removable. The box is well made. The corners are jointed and the latch and hinges are very secure. This is a great find. The box has some marks and dents from age and use. The picture on the top has rub marks on it. Nice old painted iron latch weighing about 13 oz. Paint is chipped with minor rust and dirt. The spring is still good and it works fine. The button I think is supposed to hold latch inside housing but that doesn't seem to work. The latch body is about 5 inches in length. Screws not included. Thanks for looking. Both latches function perfectly on a well made spring, and original screws are included. Paint is of course removable and has perhaps preserved the metal underneath nicely- I see some darkening on metal that shows, but no rust or corrosion. Each latch measures 1 1/2" long(tall) And screw holes are 1 1/8" apart(measured from mid-point of hole opening. These are getting very hard to find. Vintage Wooden jewelry box carvings exc condition working latch & hinges
This is a beautiful. Vintage, carved, wooden jewelry box. It is 6" W X 4" D X 2 3/4" H. The hinges and locking clasp all work perfect. The front latch has a small pin type that you could actually put a small lock through. The inside is red cordoroy. There is a small spot on the side otherwise clean. The mirror is clean without any aged crazing that old mirrors get. The inside has four ring slots. The carvings on the top& front are very nice. I can't decide what it is but I think it looks like a sailboat. For all jewelry box collectors. This is a nice one.

Small Camelback Travel Trunk Suitcase Leather Handle Vintage Latch 1930s-1950s?
Great Small Wooden Camelback Trunk Suitcase This great small tall trunk. Case measures 13 inches tall, 13 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches wide. The case is made of thin wood. With a leather handle on top. It has a beautiful metal latch. I have had several people in the"antique business" take a look at this trunk and they have no idea as to exactly WHAT it's purpose was. They guess the date of it's manufacture as early as 1930's to as late as 1950's. I have spent hours on the internet looking up Camelback Trunk salesman samples. Hat boxes, overnight cases, etc. There are no stamped markings. Etc. anywhere! What I DO know is this is an absolutely beautiful little wooden case and if I had anywhere to sit it. It would stay right here! Great storage with that antiqued look!

Vintage Rustic Country Chic Window with Latch
Very neat old vintage window that was on hinges that swung open. Latch remains on the piece. Glass is in very good condition with no chips or scratches. The glass is old with ripples if you look down at a certain angle. I tried to capture that with the camera. But it doesn't look the same as in person. It was painted white and yellow at one time as you can tell by the remaining paint. The back of the piece is mostly yellow. It measures 38 inches high, by 33.5 inches wide, by 1.5 inches deep. Vintage French Rim Lock/Latch c/w Keys. Keep and Handles. Here for sale is an old french rim lock and latch. The mild steel lock is in very good working order and has been oiled. It comes with its keep and 2 keys. The lock has a double turn dead bolt. Also included are a set of matching barley twist wrought iron handles complete with the square bar and pins. The lock has been painted black. Some of the paint is chipped. It has a brass plated escutcheon too. Dimensions: Lock size only without the keep. 12cm high. 7cm wide, 2cm width. The length of the handle's square shank bar is adjustable to all thicknesses of door. It may be necessary to drill extra holes in the bar so as to get the handles to fit the door. The lock has a 7mm square handles bar. Shipping is Economy Parcel service within the UK. I will post to other countries. They are part#538 C. The base is 1" wide X 6 1/2" long. Minor scuffs& scratches but still in excellent unused condition. I cleaned only 1 of the 4 latches. GOOP_OFF kicks my butt& I get hives.
