It has butterscotch colored ornate handles. The mirror is etched and is scalloped around the edge. The mirror measures approximately 9 ¼” and measures a total of 12 ¼” handle to handle) This is a used item and as you’d expect from an item of this age. It does have some scratches and spots where the black backing shows through. There is a nut that is missing that holds one of the screws in the handle. It measures approx. 14.5" long, 10" wide and from the base to the top of the handles 1.5" This item has been in storage, is somewhat dusty and could have a slight musty/smokey smell. Vintage Pressed Glass Vase w Handles Cut Diamond Pattern Estate Find
Straight from an estate sale is this vintage clear glass vase. I am not sure of its maker. It stands 6.5" tall and 7" across the top opening. The vase has a diamond pattern at the bottom that lines up to the flaired scallop edge. There are handles at the top sides. Vintage Folk Art Wood Box with Compartment Rope Handles Hand Made Nautical Look
Here is a nice little vintage folk art pine box with rope handles. This may have originally made as a music box but doesn't look like it ever was one- there is a small drilled hole under lid on body of box. There is one small compartment on left side. It is not lined. It flares out at the bottom. The rope handles are in good shape. A little discolored from use and overall the box is in good condition but it does show wear to finish, such as scratches and dings and various marks. The interior is in good shape, one area is rougher than the rest but I don't consider it damage. The piece is fastened together with tiny brad nails. It measures 8" w x 3 1/2" h x 3 1/2" d. I have one photo with a yellow pencil pointing at the center end of one of the Bakelite Handles. I am trying to point out where there was once an electrical cord attached, that has been cut off and now gone. The entire rolling pin is approx. 20 inches long, and about 2 1/2 inch in diameter at the center area. In one of my photos I have a yellow pencil point at an area of the black rubber ribs. I am trying to point out age cracking between one of the rubber ribs. There is also another on the other side. The rubber ribbing seems to be securely attached and not coming off. It measures approximately 11 3/8" wide at the top rim(not including the handles) x 5 1/2" tall. There are two handles and 3 feet. The handles and feet are made of another type of metal and are not aluminum. The handles and feet are securely attached. The handles and feet look rusty and one of the feet looks dented, however, the colander does sit flat when placed on a flat surface. It has a primitive, rustic look to it and will display well!
