Description I have listed an Antique/Vintage 2 Piece Carving Set with Sterling Handles in the Park Avenue pattern. This was made by Manchester Silver and introduced in 1931. Both of the handles are marked"Sterling" and the utility portion on both is marked"Stainless" The Fork measures approximately 8 3/4" long and the Knife is 10" They are in pretty good shape. But there are some marks and scratches on the handles. The bag that they were in when I got them will be included, but it does need to be washed. I found this at an estate sale in central Alabama and was possibly made around Civil War era. The weight is approximately 2 lbs. 10 oz. The total length is 14-3/4" x 5-1/2" wide x 2" tall x 7-3/4" across the tapered base. The inside tapers down from 7-1/2" length x 5-1/4" wide. This is a heavy antique piece of pewter with possibly mixed metals. It has no markings but you can see the hand hammered work in this beauty. It is in pre-owned but good condition for its age and use. It would make a great addition to your"vintage primitive pewter" collection and a great setting for that"primitive" decor.

Vintage Red Wing 5 Gallon Crock with Lid and Handles
Up for auction is a wonderful antique Red Wing 5-gallon crock with original handles and lid. It is approximately 16" high and weighs just over 20 lbs. Nice markings- the red wing has just a little smudge to it. Large#5. Crock itself is in beautiful condition with only a small area by the bottom where the glaze didn't cover fully- no cracks or chips. Handles are in great condition. Only damage is some chips on the underside of the lid- have tried to show that in the pictures. The top of the lid is good- one chip can just barely be seen when the lid is on the crock. One says shower one says shampoo and those two appear to be a set as they have the same type of letters and are the same size. The other two are just a little different shape. one of those says cold and the other has an arrow pointing up. They are all about 3 1/2 inches across and the square hole in the back is 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. The handle with the arrow on it has some marks on it from wear not really chips just some wear marks. This is a wonderful vintage heated child's dinner plate for the Sllllllooooooow eater in the family. Screw on stopper in the top allows warm or hot water to be put into the inside of the plate to keep the food warm while the child ate their food. Divided into 3 sections. 2 quarter sections and one half section. The theme is Little Bo Beep. Decal's present in the bottom of each section, pink trim around the top rim. The bakelite handles are a reddy brown color. The bottom of the plate is Chrome Plated. The plate was made by Bartsch Mfg Co. with a patent# 2353393 and stamped with the date 7-11-44. A wonderful addition to your collection. There is wear to the chrome plating and the under metal shows through around the edge on the bottom but still a very fun addition to that collection.
