Up for auction is an old brass and cast iron lock/latch. Its in good shape with a very nice patina! I do not have the key. But it is unlocked and moves like it was brand new. I will offer a very old door latch/ handle assembly with screws. My house is over 100 yrs. old and these came off of my front door. The latch works well but we didn't use the deadbolt while we had it. I will include the door hinges too but I can't find the pins to go in them. The latch assembly measures 3 3/8" x 5" The end plate on latch assembly is 1 1/8 x 7 1/8" The plates measure 1- 2 5/8 x 7 3/4" and 1- 3 x 12" The knob is 2 1/8" round. Ask any questions. Vintage Kason Walk In Cooler Freezer Locking Door Handle & Latch
Here is a very old Kason walk in cooler handle and latch. Model 56. KASON HDWE out of Brooklyn. This came from an old walk in wooden cooler. Wood sides on the inside and outside. So it was pretty old but still working. The handle works I took it off the cooler. Two of the screws are stuck in the holes. I do not have the screws for the other holes. Has cracks on the back plate as shown but I do not think this affects the use of the handle. See the pictures as these are the best description of the item. As you can see it is in found condition. Vintage Brass victorian Antique Door Knob& Locking Latch Set Antique ORIGINAL! This is an amazing survivor. Excellent condition with a great looking patina. This hasn't been cleaned or polished so it retains that great antique look. Everything works. The black box part of the latch measures 3-3/4" tall x 3-1/16" deep and is 9/16" thick. The outer plate adds 1/8" to the deep measurement and it is 5-1/2" tall x 7/8" thick. This has threaded ends on each side of the shaft so it can accommodate any thickness door from 1" to 3" Don't miss out on this untouched and working antique knob and latch set. Sorry. Vintage Latch / Lock ? for a Barn / Shed Door ? #131
Up for sale is a type of barn/ shed door closure/ lock that I have not seen before. Not sure if it is for a hinged or sliding door or even completely sure how it works. Looks complete but again not sure. Made of cast steel and or cast iron. All the moving parts work freely and there are no cracks that I can see. It has been sprayed with WD-40 and lightly wire brushed to knock off the surface rust. You will have to be the judge. Sorry. See Pictures and Item Specifics/ Item description. Up for bid is a vintage screen door knob w original plates& latch. We believe the middle part of round knob is bakelite but cannot be for sure. The knob turn and the handle plate has its lock that slides as it should. The mechanism will need oiled as when you turn knobs the latch does not go in& out as it should.
