I have an old door slide lock for your consideration. Square slide is cast iron. The slide housing appears to be pressed and peened steel and the catch is brass. Some residual copper Jappaned finish evident on catch. I do not think these were original to each other but they work together. Nice old slide to bring some character to your renovation or repair.
