Vintage spring loaded iron farm barn door latch. The latch itself is 5" long by 2" wide. There is 23" of chain between the latch spring and the latch pull handle. The spring of the latch is still strong and slides and pulls freely. I can supply the 6 vintage screws to go with the latch. But there is no keeper. This latch is in good vintage condition. The round finial top has a metal 4 1/4 inch circular hook for hanging. At the finial is a metal multi-level decorative pedal display. This bird house is 100% structurally sound. This is some rust mainly across the bottom and drabs on up. It looks like someone tried to white wash the bird cage some years ago. The bird cage is as it was found and will need a bit of cleaning. The curio measures 8" x 6 1/4" x 2" and is the perfect size for displaying miniature collectibles and keeping them safe and dust-free. It has 4 small shelves: Top shelf is 6 1/4" wide by 2 3/4" high. 2 small shelves. Each is 2" by 2 1/4" Tallest shelf is 5 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" wide. The brass has a nice age related patina. The curio has a little latch that slides to allow the door to open and locks so the door can't swing open by accident. There are 2 brass semi-rings at the top for hanging it on your wall. The glass has 3 cracks in the corner of the top/ceiling pane as seen in the last photo. Fortunately when it is on the wall around eye level. The cracks cannot be seen. I rescued a box of a bunch of different brass stuff that I will be listing. this is a Jewett Buffalo. New York I think it's an icebox latch for the door, I don't know much about it other than looking some stuff up. its pretty heavy hopefully somebody can use it. Unusual Primative Vintage Latch Lockset? for thick door, spring loaded, cabin
Here is what I believe to be an Early Vintage Locking Latch Door Set. I could use some help of someone recognizes it. And could send me more information. It is spring loaded, and I have a picture of it in its down position. It has a great patina, and measures appox 14 1/2 by 6 1/8 inches. I have a feeling the part on the back that sticks out, was for a key to that it could be unlocked from the outside. The key would have had a hole running on the inside, and looks like when turned could have forced the spring loaded piece to go down. From the lenght of the piece that sticks out, it appears to have been made for a very thick door? Maybe for a log cabin? Maybe for a barn? S/H in USA lower 48 is $12.00. Thanks

Antique Latch with skeleton keys. This does work- could use some lubrication to help to move more easily. It also has 2 buttons that control the lock. Photos show the little but of paint wear but that is all I see as far as damage. If installed- you would never see it anyway. It come with the original keys as well. Connecticut. In the company's“Century” style with beautifully ornamented geometric details and stylized flowers. The pattern of decoration on the latch is considered to be part of the Eastlake style or perhaps more correctly. The American Aesthetic Movement, style. The latch was made no earlier than 1880 and no later than 1890. Spring loaded with a link for a pull chain(chain NOT included) This is a hefty 10-inch latch. It is R&E's part number 2234. It was made by the Russell& Erwin Co. of New Britain. Connecticut, active 1851 thru 1902) Includes the part-number-matching decorative catch. The latch was powder coated last week ... moreusing a glossy black. It looks positively perfect. The gloss is exceptional. I apologize for the poor-quality pictures- the powdercoating is so shiny the camera won't focus properly or else the flash reflects back into lens. Confusing the camera. This thing is THAT shiny! The entire piece was blasted and cleaned to the“white metal” stage before being powder coated. White metal definition: A white metal blast cleaned surface finish is defined as a surface with a gray-white. Uniform metallic color, slightly roughened to form a suitable anchor pattern for coatings. The surface, when viewed without magnification, shall be free of all oil, grease, dirt, visible mill scale, corrosion products, oxides, paint or any other foreign matter. The latch is 2-3/8” at the widest and 10-7/16” long NOT including the catch. Total length. With the catch, is about 11-1/2” long. The latch body, when mounted, stands out 7/8” The entire piece(except the internal spring) is made from cast iron. The total weight for the entire piece. VINTAGE GLASS FLUTED ? DOOR KNOBS - DOOR PLATES & LATCH PIECE
Vintage/ antique door knob set. I don't know how old these are and I couldn't find any name as to a maker. The glass door knobs are approximately 2" across. One is clear and the other has a pale amber color to it. The one that is more amber in color has two chips to the top edge- one is about 1/2" and the other 1/4" both are located right on the edge and there's a much smaller chip also. These are fluted and have 12 sides. The metal part is maybe copper with a reddish brown finish near the knob and where the screw fits. All pieces where put together when I got this and I took them apart for the pictures and they will remain apart. There is a heavy metal piece that would go inside the door and measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 1/2" and has a key hole in it.
