If the quantity above falls below 5, this indicates that 1 or more hinges sold. Wonderful. Antique door hinges made by"McKinney Manufacturing Company" of Pittsburgh, PA sometime during the first half of the previous century. Each hinge is made of solid, thick, heavy steel, and has a 5-knuckle design with ball finials at both ends. Originally. The hinges were brass-plated, however, some of the plating wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed finish. The amount of plating varies from hinge to hinge. The hinges were salvaged from Northeastern Ohio. At the point of salvage. Some of the hinge pins wouldn't budge, some hinges were frozen, and all parts were painted, dirty, and rusty(see last photo) Since then, we've spent hours removing the pins, removing the paint, and cleaning the surface of dirt and rust. There are some nicks and scratches here and there which are typical for hardware this old. However. There are no breaks, cracks, or chips. Unlike the hinges made today. That you could buy at your local hardware store; these hinges are thicker, heavier, and stronger. They were made using forged steel, not a cheap composite or alloy, and were built to last a lifetime. If you are planning on using these hinges to hang a new door, it's a very good chance that you'll end up replacing the door before the hinges! Lot of 30 Vintage Brass Hardware Items- Drawer Pulls, Door Handle, Antique Hinge
This is a large lot of 30 assorted vintage brass and metal hardware pieces. Several of the pieces are marked as being brass but others are not and may only be a brass finish. Please read my description and use the photos as your guide. Most of the pieces are ornate drawer pulls. But there is also a very old front door handle and one antique hinge. Here's what's included: One antique brass door hinge(actually half a hinge) with the inscription"Pat(patent) June 24. 1879. It has an ornate design(see photos) and three screw holes. No screws are included. On the back it says"3 x 3 L" It is quite heavy weight. Beautiful period piece with some loss of finish on the back. It measures 3" tall. The mounting plate is 1 1/4" wide and 1 7/16" wide including the pin hole. Needs cleaning. One large. Heavy brass door ... morehandle in very good shape but with some dull finish and mounting screws taped on the handle with masking tape. Measures approx. 11 7/8" long and 3" wide at the widest point. Has a 2 1/4" diameter hole(for knob or lock/latch? and three screw holes. From the top mounting hole to the bottom one measures approx. 10 3/8" Top to middle mounting hole approx. 3 3/16" From middle to bottom mounting hole is 7 1/8" There are two other items that I'm including.don't know if they go with the door handle or not. Striker plate 2 1/4" high x 1" wide. Two screw holes 1 5/8" on center. No screws included. Also includes a small brass L shape bracket. Unknown what this is for or if it goes with the door handle. See photos. Set of 6 heavy brass drawer pull handles. Approx. 6 7/8" long and 2 3/8" wide. Screw holes are 5" apart on center. The backside of the handles is inscribed in raised letters"Keeler Brass Co. c N12391. All appear to be in very good shape. With tarnish and some loss of finish. One has some white smudges in one area. Please see photos. All 6 handles come with mounting screws(2 screws per handle for a total of 1

Skil Vintage Old #17070 Hinge Butt Template Kit with Metal Box & Brass Hardware
This set was used often by a master carpenter and framer. It is missing one of the original pegs/marker but is easily replaced with a comparable nail as shown in pictures. The template and rods are in good shape with hardly any rust. The metal box is obviously highly rusted and the carry handle needs to be fixed but that should be easy. Vintage 1950s Brass (Plated?) Mailbox Made by Bommer Spring Hinge Co., Inc.
This set of 7 mailboxes was used in an apartment building in San Francisco which was built around 1910. The front face including ornamentation& doors may be brass or brass plated. The non- functioning sides& back seem to be sheet metal. A small test of a worn area on the front mailboxes showed very shiny brass in a 30 second test using Brasso& a soft cloth. A light sanding and Brasso polish may get the same results. Magnets didn't stick to the face but it sticks on the other 3 sides. The top right corner seems to be bent slightly. The pictures 6& 7) It is intended to be mounted inside a framed wall cavity with the face of the boxes and frame sitting slightly beyond flush with the wall. approx. 1/4th of an inch) It can be mounted numerous ways which may not conform with current postal regulations. Originally, all hinges were brass plated, however, much of the plating has worn off over the years leaving them with a nice, distressed finish. All hinges have a five-knuckle design with ball-tip finials on each end. At the point of salvage. Some hinges were painted, some pins wouldn't budge, and all of the hinges were dirty and rusty. Vintage game board is made of pine wood and has a carved scroll edge. It measures about 6 3/8" by 6 1/2" Marquetry design features squares that measure just over 1/2" across. Gameboard folds in half. It has nice brass hinges with age patina. Each square has a hole drilled in it for the game pieces. Only one of the holes was drilled completely through. I am thinking that this was a mistake. But this does add to the charm of this handmade piece. Also, some of the bone pieces are do not sit flush. They are a bit raised and imperfect. From a smoke free home. Vintage screen door hardware lot.Self-closing screen door hinge.Very old. Cast iron, with taut spring. Bunch of little items.Many brass.Screen door handle(brass) with spindle. Another heavier handle(not brass) with no set screw. Two small locking thumb latches(both brass) and a screen doorknob(brass) has the threading collar broke in one section as pics will show. What you see is what you get.Weight adds up to more than first class ship. One of the deadbolt style thumb latches appears to be nickel.It is not the typical golden brass color and a magnet does not attach to it.Each item buck fifty start. This is a single antique door hinge made of brass or bronze. This old Victorian hinge is in the Windsor pattern. The Windsor pattern has little circles or targets. The hinge is marked 4x4. And the plates are 4 inches by 4 inches. The total length including the steeple finials is 6 1/2 inches. One side has a clear coat finish that is partially worn off.
