Antique Escutcheon Plate & DOOR KNOB PF CORBIN AMAZING Old Bronze Victorian
This is an original P.F. Corbin door plate in the"Ceylon" pattern with similar or matching door knob Condition is excellent. No rust. No cracks or chips. Design is sharp and crisp. Perfect mounting holes. The bronze plating is in excellent shape without much wear. This is a thick heavy plate. Not a thin stamped one. It is ready to install and enjoy. This plate measures 5 1/2" tall by 1 5/8" wide. It is 2 1/4" from the center of the round part of the keyhole to the center of the doorknob well. The key hole is 11/16" tall. The doorknob well is 5/8" in diameter.

This lot contains an unusual door handle set. Comprising a two non-matching door handles, two similarly non-matching brass escutcheons, and the connecting square profiled spindle. One of the handles is a push-action handle made of brass, and it is pinned or riveted to the spindle. The other is a white porcelain or milk glass turn knob that attaches to the spindle with an adjustable grub screw. Each hook is made of solid, cast iron. One hook has 2 arms, and the other only has one. Each hook has one porcelain knob. Notice the lovely rosette sitting atop each knob-what a great accent! The door knobs are apr. 2 1/4 inches in diameter and apr. 2 inches tall. Other than the old paint we did not notice any damage. The pictures should show the rest. This is a stunning pair of 19th century bronze door handles. they are made from thick bronze and have nice weight to them. they also have acquired a wonderful patina from age. they are a very rare set and measures 2 1/2 inches wide and each knob sits 3 1/2 inches from the door. they are overall in nice shape but has a small dent in one.
