I created the mold and found a local casting shop to pour solid bronze into my mold. I hand detail. And polish all knobs that are made. It is a beautiful cheryb, with angle wings. You will find leaves and grapes in her wavy locks of blonde hair. You will find traditional carvings of leaves on the back of the knob. You will see some imperfections in the item but that shows it is not mechanically made. I do have a patent on the design. This door knob weighs about 5lbs. Antique victorian East Lake Brass Door knob set Nice!
This is an antique nickel plated brass doorbell-bell only. It was manufactured in approximately the 1880's. The diameter is 4 3/4" and the depth is 1 1/8" It's in very nice condition. If yours is old and rusty this would make a nice replacement bell. I bought 9 doorbell bells that I will be listing. I bought them at a swap meet in Davenport. Antique Orig Victorian Solid Brass Door Knob Set with Lock & Keyway EXCELLENT!
This exquisite set is all original to this lock and period. But could have been married together at one point in the past because the mortise lock plate and the keyway have a Victorian Eastlake design that doesn't seem to match exactly the knob and rosette design. They all were on the door as you see them and, as usual the lock plate was painted white which I stripped off with Stripease(not with wire brushing) and that left a little white in the Eastlake grooves. The mortise lock plate does have some minor scratches and one more major. But not bad, running vertically near the dead bolt, of which I have no skeleton key, sorry. The white paint is also on the rosettes a little bit. The plate could actually be stripped again to get the leftover paint out of the grooves. After the paint lifts, rinse with denatured alcohol. The latch seems ... moreto work fine and I see no reason why the deadbolt wouldn't work with a key made. I hope you can use this gorgeous specimen from the late 1800's. Up for your consideration we have a beautiful antique steam punk. Victorian style marble door knob. It is round and I believe made of marble or highly polished and glazed pottery. It is brown and tan swirled and is about 2" in diameter. It has a metal stem out from it that is about an inch long and 1/2 an inch diameter. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have some surface scratching and a little surface rust on the metal stem. We have recently purchase d a major estate of a serious collector of all things unique. Vintage and antique.
