This is a beautiful vintage door knocker. It is a cast solid bronze or brass, with the matching strike plate, I'm not sure what to call the style, the strike plate and top mounting area of the knocker look like mission, it is just very unique and stylish in appearance, the knocker portion measures just over 6" long, and 3 1/8" wide, the strike plate measures 2 1/4" by 1 1/4" both pieces have a makers mark or numbers on the back, though I am not able to identify the maker from this, the knocker portion has some lettering(which I can't read) and the numbers 44822. the strike plate has what appears to be a capital A inside a circle and some other faint letters. Military Issue Medium ballistic Strike PLATE Body Armor with vest

This is a large lot of antique/vintage door backplates. Strike plates and a very old key keeper. All are free of cuts and useable. 10 of the back plates are matching, measuring 7x2-1/4" The large plate on the right is brass and the little one below it is also brass.
