I believe that they are mid to late 17th Century in date, but possibly earlier. They do have the usual rust and surface corrosion. Expected of a piece this age. I also note a small area on the"back" of the one hinge where a piece of the metal is flaking upward. Its nothing major. The area measures about 2 inches long and at the widest point, 1 inch. see photo) Other than the above the hinges are straight. These type of hinges can be used on barns or other out buildings. Even doors on stone homes, or log structures. The pins used with these hinges can usually be purchased at perhaps a local hardware store or on online. The Hinges measure approx. 21 inches long and 2 inches at widest point.

7 pair vintage 1950's or'60's copper finish strap hinges. Most show some discoloration with areas that the finish has worn. They measure 6" long and take 5 screws each. There are 49 screws which means 21 are missing. The hinges are stamped Ferum Italy.

2 Antique Large Metal Barn Door Strap Hinges 27" long
Up for auction is a pair of large authentic vintage barn door hinges. They are heavy duty off set strap style with a decorative heart or acorn at one end. These hinges were purchased approximately 35 years ago in Oregon City. Oregon From a developer who had purchased what was then rural farm land. The old barns and buildings had been taken down and he was selling items recovered before deconstruction. I don't know exactly how old these are but I can tell you that the buildings had been there decades before they were taken down in the early 1980's. They have been sand blasted. Primed, and painted flat black with high quality enamel. They work superbly and are ready to be installed. The burrs around the hinge area were left for character. The strap is 24" long and with the hinge approximately 27 and 1/4" in total length and ... moreeach hinge weighs 4.7 pounds. very heavy duty steel. Weighs 3.5 pounds each! Hinges are 3/16" inches think. These are big pieces of metal for big doors and gates. Ruler in pictures is 12" long. Under white paint. And on backside, is another covering that is green(perhaps factory applied paint? that adds another layer of rust protection. Hinges are held together by a rivet, not an easily removable pin. OLD BARN HINGES Two(2) old rusty& pitted strap type hinges from a turn of the century barn that burned down about 15 years ago. Each hinge measures approx. 4-3/16" wide(height) x 23-3/4" long, weigh nearly 6 lbs. when placed on the scales together(approx. 3 lbs. each) the hinges have been soaking in WD-40 to loosen them up so expect some oily residue, note that one of the hinges is off center approx. 1/4" and doesn't line up perfectly(see image) measurement taken at narrow end when folded in half.
