VERY SCARCE* OLD ANTIQUE VTG Ca 1880's VICTORIAN AESTHETIC MOVEMENT FANCY BRASS POCKET DOOR HANDLE PULLS SET This offering is for an antique or vintage pocket door handle or pull set made of pressed brass with beautiful aesthetic movement decoration in high relief. I am unsure of who made the knobs as there are no makers markings or dates but I would think they were made in the late 19th century. About the 1880's. The overall length of each plate is app. 4 5/8" by 2 1/8" wide. The depth is app. ¼" The plates are uncleaned and as found with an excellent surface patina. The set displays beautifully and definately rate as one of the more unusual and beautiful pocket door knob sets produced. This great antique door pull pair will make an excellent addition to someone's collection, shouldn't it be yours! Antique Pocket Door Set (The Lundy Silent Rollers)
This is a complete set that I pulled off a pair of pocket doors. I found them in the basement of a house that was built in the mid 1800s. And the previous owner told me they were the original doors. Everything is dirty and needs cleaned, but it's all solid. The locking mortise is broken, as you can see in the photo, and I don't have a key, so I don't know if they work. You'll probably have to replace the mortise, but I'm including it because it was all together. Also, the mortise cover was painted over, so it might be a bit harder to clean. The stamp on the mortise appears to say, NORWALL L.CO' or something close to that. The rollers are stamped, THE LUNDY SILENT. There are more, smaller and harder to read markings on the bottom mounting plate. All 4 are in working order. There is a decent amount of dust and grime, ... moreand the mounting plates have a minimal amount of surface rust, but nothing that can't be cleaned. For the record, the bearings on all 4 work, but they aren't the normal, grease packed bearings. They're just a round rod thru a larger hole. Like I said, they work, and it looks original and not broken in any way. The handles are brass. I had to soak them in vinegar for about an hour to find out because they were so dirty. They aren't painted, and should be able to be cleaned up nicely. All 4 have crude/old looking stamps on the back that say, PAT SEPT 7-1886 7858. One of them has a very slight warp, but it will straighten out when you screw it down. I took pictures of the sides so you can see how slight it is. Ornate Antique Cast Iron Wall Pocket Style Basket Weave Design Door Knocker
Very unique old door knocker. Cast iron in the style of a wall pocket with a basket weave design. Would make a great knocker for any door. We have an old home and would use it ourselves except that our door is all glass. The door knocker came from the basement of a home here in Louisville and is about 5 inchest tall. 4.5 inches wide at the top, and 2 inches wide at the bottom. The knocker piece works great. I did not clean it so you may want to. Good condition with no cracks at all, just the normal rubbing you would expect from an old piece like this. It is quite heavy at about 2 to 3 pounds for shipping.

These came out of an old Church Building but I cannot say this without absolute certainty. Each Brass Victorian Door Plate measures approx. 3 3/4" inches Wide by Approx. 8" inches in Length. Round Pockets each measure Approx. 2" inches in Diameter( front side) 2 1/4" inches in Diameter( back side) and Approx. 2 1/2" inches in Depth. Screw Mount holes measure Approx. 5" inches apart. Please take notice that ~ One of these unique Plates have the Skeletal Lock Key Hole opening. These do show wear and will need to be cleaned up. NOS vintage Victorian wrought bronze pocket door dead bolt locks
I recently acquired several large boxes of vintage hardware from a Simmons Hardware in McComb Ohio. Alot of these items are in marked boxes and have hand writing on them from the old school fountain pens or even quill pens.not real sure. These items were never used and some of them have patent dates from the 1800's. Many pieces are not marked on the item itself at all. Even though these items are N.O.S. some of thes still have patina and some even have some rust from over 100 years of humidity etc. There is so much stuff I do not have the time to clean all of it so a lot of the items will be as found. This auction is for three pocket door dead bolts. These operate to slide down to the floor or up to the top jam to keep the door from sliding. They have never been used. NOS original hardware. Antique pocket door pull hardware art deco style engraving
This beautifully made antique pocket door pull came from an estate where there was major tonnage of architectural relics. I did a mild soap and water cleaning of it. But made no effort to polish or scrub it for fear of removing patina. This item measures 4& 1/2" long and 2& 1/8" wide. It has detailed etching on it reminiscent of the Art Deco style of long ago. There are many alternate creative uses for this item It could be recessed-mounted on a wall to produce a small shrine or picture frame, or recess-mounted flat onto a furniture or counter surface to create a receptacle for anything. This is a really interesting item in itself.ANTIQUE and not a modern reproduction. it is a MINIATURE. 2 smooth plain tapered column TEMPLE- MANSION memoriam or door way PORTICO. on first glance it looks like its made from carved sandstone. but I do think this is reconstitued ground up sandstone and then mixed to form a paste put into a mould and then made.and the Victorians were capable of this. easy.called CAST STONE often found in gardens and staircases. balustrading etc. urns. Columns, fountain features, sun dials etc etc etc.so in my opinion its CAST stone. It looks to me like a MEMORIAM ... moreitem.a posh gentry aristocratic funeral grave stone. It is miniature form and this would have originally held a POCKET WATCH as shown in the last photograph. NOTE. this is only for display purpose.you will NOT be getting a pocket watch with the item. So. as you can see its abit like an architectural door portico without the door. as it has a plain NON engraved lower plaque.with a circular hole in the centre. this is where the WATCH fits from the back. The base. rectangular with the indentation and bevelled top edge.then a smaller step and then the 2 columns. these are slightly wider at the base than the top. they are smooth and the tops have a certain decoration.these capitals will have a certain name but I dont know what it is. then up to the square block. then the main beam.this has GREEK KEY pattern around it and up to the pediment. this is not plain. it has a FLOWER in VASE like picture and a date 1852. slight wear in this vicinity. on the flower petals and the 52 tops.the pediment roof is quite wide and all goes back to the flat back of the item. at each corner of the roof it has a l

This listing is for TWO ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BRASS FACE PLATE POCKET DOOR LOCKS w/ DEAD BOLT. The lock are in very good +++ used condition. Sorry. But no keys available. One lock has RHG stamped in a circle& the other one is unmarked. Both steel locks are approx 3 5/8" high& 3 1/8" deep by 9/16" thick and the brass face plates are 5 1/4" high by 7/8" wide. Both locks came from an old estate sale. No cracks or dents. I have two old metal door knobs listed on ebay and can combine shipping.

2 Restored Antique Cast Iron Victorian Pocket Sliding Door Roller Wheel Hardware
Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of Antique Restored Cast Iron Pocket Door Rollers. Original. Antique, pocket door rollers salvaged from an old door that we rescued from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each roller is made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron. If you are unfamiliar with this type of hardware. These are the wheels installed on the bottom of a pocket door to help it slide/roll on it's track. These are used in conjunction with track hardware and overhead rollers that the door hangs from. At the point of salvage. The rollers were found rusty and dirty. Since then, we've cleaned and polished each roller to the best of our ability. We also sprayed WD40 around the wheels to facilitate their movement. Now. They work very well and are ready to be re-used for another 100+ years! The rollers have tiny nicks and scratches here and there. ... moreWhich are typical for antique hardware. They also have some subtle pitting, which is also normal for old hardware. The pitting is minor and only adds to the roller's aged, distressed look. Otherwise, both are in great working condition with no breaks, cracks, chips, bends, or gouges. The wheels spin smoothly.
