This gorgeous antique pocket door hardware came from an estate where there was major tonnage of architectural salvage items. It measures 4& 3/4" long by just under 2" wide. I've taken off surface grime with mild soap and water. But did no scrubbing or polishing for fear of removing patina. Set of Lane Pocket Door Rollers
Complete set of Antique Lane Pocket door rollers to hang one door. The rollers. Mounting hardware, and original screws to mount are included in this auction. These rollers represent the later Lane design which was patented in 1891 and 1892. The rollers came from a home that was build in 1904 in South St. Louis near the Anheuser Busch Brewery. They can be used to hang barn doors as well as replace existing pocket door rollers. The door is not included in this auction and is being sold separately. Pair of antique parlor door cast iron track wheels for sliding pocket doors
For your consideration. We offer this pair of cast iron track wheels for sliding pocket doors which were a conventional feature of the Victorian and early 20th century American home. Produced by the American Manufacturing Company with a patent date of Dec. 8, 1885. Pocket doors were a domestic architectural feature which slid into an adjacent wall compartment when there was no room for a hinged door. Measurements: wheel diameter- 3 3/4" attachment bracket- 9" in length; height of entire unit- 8" The attachment bracket has a 5" ridge along its 9" underside and 6 screw holes, 3 on either side of the ridge. This auction is for DOOR HARDWARE for use with a sliding. Or pocket door. All of the parts are present to install a mortised lock within the vertical member of your door. It locks and unlocks, it provides by way of a push button on the door side an oval shaped retracting handle by which one can pull the door along its track or close it. The handle retracts, the button is automatically returned to its'out' position. The key can be used from either side of the door; it locks and unlocks. This is antique. Or vintage hardware manufactured by CORBIN. It is preowned'used' and purchased from an architectural salvage company 15 years ago. The trade name"Corbin" in its older corporate graphic logo is cast in raised profile on the lock body. I would date the hardware to the first quarter of the 20th century. It is in fine ... morecondition- it needs cleaning. Meaning it has accumulated dust, mild oxidation, rust, from basement storage. It will clean readily. I use steel wool. 0000, and a 50/50 solution of turpentine and boiled linseed oil. Your method may be less smelly, we all have our habits. Caution: oily rags can spontaneously combust- many old homes have been lost to such fires. The lock body is cast iron with black japan(a widely used sealant in the 19th century) the faceplate is steel, the door escutcheon plates. Metal Door Wall Bucket Pocket Cornucopia "Give Thanks" Cutout & Fruit Swag Stem
This is a very nice and unique metal decoration with a Cornucopia full of fruit and vegetables. It has a cut out that says"Give Thanks" on the front. It is 2 1/4" deep front to back. It tapers from 6" at top to 4 1/2" at the bottom and is 8" tall and deep. The Cornucopia is also made of metal and it has a metal handle with an added wire you can hang it from. I put the spray or swag stem with it as a handle for one of the photos just for fun: This would even look good in the center of a autumn wreath or use it for your fall mail or newspaper box. There is a dent in the front near and on the words with a bit of paint missing from the bottom as well. The spray or swag has a lemon. Antique Cast Brass Single Pocket Door Pulls by Yale& Towne with Floral Pattern The item being offered is a beautiful and original cast brass set of pocket door pulls. They were made by Yale& Towne circa early 1900s. The pulls have an aged brass finish. The tops and bottoms have a wonderful scroll work pattern with flowers. The rectangular opening has a slight curve at the top and bottom. The pulls measure approximately 8¾" tall by 2¼" wide. The back of each pull is marked with the Yale& Towne logo consisting of the letters Y&T within a cloverleaf which is within a circle. The set is in good+ condition with nice patina. The top of each pull has a slight bend which may have been caused by the the way they were mounted at one time. It should be easy to straighten them if needed for your application. Here's a nice old pair of roller hinges from an old barn door. The hinges are 10 inches long. 6 inches tall and the wheel is about 4 inches in diameter. No chip or cracks in the metal. I don't see any names or numbers. They look ready to go back to work.
