Which are antique bronze plated steel measuring 7” by 2 ⅝” and held onto the door with four screws on a 6 ½” by 2 ⅛” center line distance. As seen in the photos, one of the plates has been provided with a key slot. No dings or dents, but a previous owner was sloppy with the paint brush and slopped over on to the edges of the plates. I cleaned one side of one of the plates, so I know that careful cleaning can remove the rest of the paint, but I will leave that to the next owner. If you have been looking for a great set of antique pocket door plates/hardware. Look no further; this is the finest set I have come across. Heavy cast bronze or brass with exquisite detail. I will let the pictures speak for themselves, it is too difficult to try to describe all the workmanship that went into the manufacture of this fine hardware. They just don't make them like this anymore. The casting is superb. These measure about 8" long x 2.75" wide at the widest part. 1432 is cast into the obverse with the name Courtray above the maker's mark, RHCo. One plate is keyed, in keeping with the tradition. TWO ORNATE VICTORIAN BRASS POCKET DOOR PLATES. Two old ornate Victorian? brass pocket door plates. At least I believe they are brass, a magnet will not stick to them. They may be Eastlake but I am not that knowledgeable about these things. On the reverse side there is a marking on the longer one is 336, on the short, wider one it is marked TOP Thin and 334 1/2. Onw measures 5" x 2" and the other one 2 1/2" x 4" I do not have a match for either one of these.

These sets require a 1 3/4" thick door or thicker. The rice pattern dates from 1885 and was made by Yale and town of Stamford Connecticut. We collected antique originals. Analyzed the bronze content, remade molds and cast them in the finest sand to reproduce the smallest details. The pocket door handles measure 2 1/4" x 4 1/2" The face plate of each lock measures 1 1/4" x 6 7/8" The lock box recesses 4 5/8" is 4 3/4" tall and 3/4" thick. On the face of the lock there is a handle and a button. Push the button and a handle pops out to allow you to retrieve the door from its pocket. This is a set of 4 Beautiful antique pocket door pulls or window sash lifts. Might be Eastlake. They are in EXCELLENT CONDITION. I leave any cleaning to the buyer. The back is stamped with some logo and the# 7057. I can't be sure. They appear to be bronze and maybe copper on the back. A beautiful rope design and beveled edges. They look like they have been lacquered or oiled. They may be from the old rolling closet doors. They are 3" x 1 3/8 Thanks for looking.
