Top shows cut marks from where it doubled as a cutting surface. There are two sheet metal repairs to the legs and also an early wire nail pinning one of the stretchers. One leg sits loosely in the seat which is an easy fix if you choose to do so(does not interrupt function) It measures approx 12.5"L x 6.25"W(foot-to-foot) 3.75"W(across seat) and nearly 8"H. Up for sale is a Command Access ML80 electrified mortise lock EU fail secure. 24 Volts@350MA. This was installed to replace a bad lock, however the lock was not bad. The factory wire harness with the diode was the problem not the lock. The new lock was removed and the old one was reinstalled. Now I have this almost new lock with out female wire plug. Set of 3 Old Vintage Brass Bronze Bank Corbin Mortise Lock Sets Plates Knob Lot
These were salvaged off of a bank building in Baltimore.Md. back in the 1960's. Unfortunately the original owner could not recall which bank it was. The set in the middle takes a regular skeleton key while the 2 sets on either side have a cylinder type lock both of which are marked Corbin. The backing plates are also marked Corbin with the numbers 7788 or 3 and a 0 3X81 it looks like. The backing plate of the one in the center also marked Corbin with the numbers 77831. These look to me to be bronze but could be brass. One of the ones with the cylinder lock is unlocked while the other is currently locked. The one in the center is unlocked but turns kind of crusty sounding if you know what I mean. This one also has a bent and very rusty knob shaft. The backing plates on the 2 with the cylinder locks measure about 8 1/2" X 3" for ... morethe exterior plate and the inner plate is about 7" X 2 3/4"with the lock itself measuring about 4 3/4" X about 3 3/4" The one in the center that takes the skeleton key measures about the same with the lock measuring about 3 5/8" X 3 1/4" I do NOT have any keys for these locks. Antique RARE Fastenerless Mortise Lock 4 Patent Dates 1873 Gory Patent w/key
Antique Fastenerless Mortise Lock w/Barrel Key* 4 Patent Dates from 1873 to 1885 Offered is a rarely found original Gory patented mortise lock with barrel key. This lock is unique in that it was patented to by used without screws or nails to attach to cabinets. Etc. There are 4 patent dates stamped on the back side as: April 22'73(1873) Aug 22'82(1882) July 17'83(1883) and Nov 24'85(1885) There is some minor metal staining found but mechanisms work well with the turning of the barrel key. Measures 4" long by 2 3/8" wide and 1/2" deep. Having a working key to a lock this old is rare and nice! This was the lock that was under patent infringement lawsuits in the 1890s by Duer vs Corbin. 2 Matching Sets of Antique Barrows Mortise Finish Inside Lock Sets.
This is a set of 2 Barrows Inside Lock Sets with the same pattern with a Mortise Finish. One set has a key. The 2nd set does not but the same key works in both sets. The lock sets are in what I believe are their original boxes from which I am using to describe them and some original packing. I believe these sets have never been installed or used. The locks have not been cleaned or restored and show some signs of age/rust from being stored in a barn and garage over the years. Price is for both sets. Sets are not being sold separately.

Two used Mortise locks: Reading Knob Works and Chantrell Tool Company. One from Reading Knob Works in Reading. PA. rounded case) Faceplate is 5 3/8" x 7/8"Lock is 3 5/8" high x 3 1/4" deep(from face front of plate) x 5/8" thick. Everything works. There is a some damage to the faceplate above the bottom screw hole, probably due to a loose screw on the strike plate. The back case has some rusting as shown. But doesn't affect operation. The"Reading Knob Works" stamp is readable. But I don't have a good enough camera to show the stamp. The other lock set is from Chantrell Tool Company in PA. Square case) Faceplate is 5 3/8" long x 7/8" wide x 1/16" deep. Lock case is 3 3/4" high x 3 1/4" deep(from face front of plate) x 5/8" thick. Faceplate has traces of bronze left. Pair of white porcelain knobs from the late 19 th century and salvaged from a Victorian home in the Chicago area. One of the knobs has a very fine hairline crack in the glaze. But is not broken and doen’t affect the integrity of the piece. These will be great cleaned up and that task is being left up to the new owner. Here’s the scoop: Knobs: 2 ¼” dia. Up for auction is this handsome. Ornate, antique mortise lock set. All items have an aged patina and appear to be in good condition. The back plates with key escutcheons are matching and measure 8 3/8" tall, and 2 3/8" wide. The knobs measure 2 1/8" in diameter(one has a slightly brighter patina than the other. The mortise does have some light rust as shown. The door knob pockets measure: 8 1/2" x 2 3/4" the keyhole is 13/16" long. The length of the inside pocket measured along the back is 4 15/16" x 1 7/8" The mortise locks measure: 5 1/4" front plate the longer one is 5 3/8" The area behind the plate is 3" front to back x 3 3/4" long and 9/16" thick.
