Up for a bid is a vintage MAIL LETTER BILL MISC HOLDER 3 SLOT TIER WOOD WOODEN WALL ORGANIZER WITH 3 KEY HOOKS. It shows normal wear and tear for an item of its age. There are several scratches around the top where the hole for hanging is. Please see the pictures for more detail. The'Letter' Bills' and'Misc' slots are painted in gold(not very bright) on the 3 slots. It also has what appears to be decoupage fruit and vegetable pictures. It is made of solid sturdy wood construction. It does have discoloration on some of the areas from what appears to be use. 3 Tiers to hold Letters. Bills, and Misc. I have a very nice antique letter mail slot with matching backplate for your consideration. This is in very nice condition with the hinge pins snug and pivot smoothly. this one would have typically been used on a front door of a residence or private business. All the parts are heavy cast brass manufactured by RH Co. Circa early 1900's. Some casting marks appear. See a pics for details. Beautiful coloring and patina on the exterior letter plate and to a lesser degree on the interior cover plate. There is a small drip of paint on the interior plate that I did not want to clean off and destroy the patina but if you want to polish them up it will clean off easily. Other wise you might want to leave as is. Bring some real character to your home or shop with this authentic vintage quality door hardware. Original Arts& Crafts mailbox up for auction. It is in its original state. Pulled straight from a 1920s house in Johnson City, TN. I believe it is pressed steel with an ornate middle. There is a mail slot and newspaper holder. The hinge pins need to be attached back together in the middle. it work fine. Also screws are needed for mounting the holder arms. There is some minor rust, no dents. It measures 10" T x 6 1/2" W x 2 1/2" D without the holders. From the late 1800's or so is this brass or bronze metal heavy duty door knocker with letters slot. This piece was salvaged off of an old Baltimore house that was about to be demolished. The house was built in the 1880's so I assume that is the age of this piece. It is in excellent vintage condition. Most I see have a rusty letters door spring. This one looks brand new.
