Vintage Cast Iron Floor Vent, Heat Register, Grate with Louvers 13.75 x 9.75
This register came from my 1855 Historic Home. I have several extra registers that I found in the attic. The inner louvers box is 12 X 8 with 1.75"inch in depth. The louvers work great and the floor square knob that you work with your foot also works.and smoothly. Needs some. Paint. Very little rust.

This is a very old. Very heavy cast iron floor grate. It measures 37x37 but a beleive its for a 36x36 or 35x35 hole. The center circle is removable for easier cleaning of the return pipe. And the inside flange measures 19 7/8" X 23 7/8" The grate weighs about 31 lbs. The grate is quite rusty and needs cleaning/refurbishing. This is a beautiful cast iron Victorian floor register. It is 9- 5/16" across and is designed to fit an 8" round opening. It is 2- 1/8" deep when closed and 2- 5/8" deep when open. Vintage Tuttle & Bailey Floor Register 9X14 / 11X16 Grate w/Louvers
Wonderful Grate-it was purchased for our new home but we were unable to use it. When we got the grate it was filthy/sticky and a little rusty-what my mother would refer to as gaumy. We cleaned it with a wire brush and put a coat of paint on it to keep it from rusting. There is no damage to the grate just normal wear.This grate is pretty neat in that you can open and close the louvers by spinning the round center section of the grate. I don't know how to show that without video but it works well. The top measures 11x16 with the bottom made to fit an 11X14 opening. Its about 2 1/4" tall. It weighs in@ 12lbs or so.
