From the early part of the 1800s, ... morethe solid brass matched knobs are definitely later (early 1900s). We've described it as a lock/latch, it does have it's original key (obviously only works from the outside), the keys been repaired at some point and it needs quite a turn to engage the lock. The keep has hidden screws, see last pic, we've made a couple of repairs to the handles & replaced the collar that held the handles against the lock with a bolt, it will need recessing a few mm into the door, its a bit fiddly, so we'll leave it connected (let us know if you want us to remove it) Great original working condition, some marks and scratches especially around the handle entry.

Please keep in mind that I'm not a professional programmer. Just someone who wanted a way to keep track of the their small business employee attendance and thought there might be others out there who want a simple way to keep organized too. Even though it works great for me using Excel 2007, I can't guarantee that it will do the same for you. It's a pretty simple program, not much can go wrong with it though. These days more small business owners are struggling to pay for pricey accountants and administrators to keep simple yet important records such as this. This spreadsheet can be used as a tool to help you determine your employee attendance percentages and also be used as a record in the event you have to produce evidence of poor attendance(i.e. Unemployment Claims Hearings) If you feel comfortable enough with Excel, feel free ... moreto make any changes to the spreadsheet that you want, but please don't sell it on eBay afterward. Kwikset Smart Code Keyless Entry Lever Lock Satin FOR PARTS INCOMPLETE
PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING! I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON THESE! I purchased this from a discount store. I noticed it had a few issues: 1) as you can see in the photo of the hardware. It is missing the screw that attaches the interior side to the door mounting plate. I cannot find a screw like this as it is very small. I only checked one small store though. 2) the underside of the interior side of the knob has a scuff in the finish. This piece is made of plastic-you wouldn't even see it because it would be facing downward. 3) the key works for the lock. However, when I put the pieces together, I couldn't seem to get the lock on the interior side to turn. I'm not sure what's going on there. The key does fit and turn in the locking mechanism. 4) as you can see in the picture of the locking mechanism. It's missing a metal ... moreclip that I believe it should have(given my experience with these kwikset locks) If you have any experience with these, you may know what I'm talking about. HOWEVER, it doesn't seem to affect functionality, I just want to mention it's missing. AGAIN. I purchased this and it was in pieces. This is all I found to be wrong. Antique, exterior door lockset made by the"Reading Hardware Company" of Reading, Pennsylvania during the late 1800's. The set includes 2 bronze knobs, 1 bronze escutcheon, 1 bronze rosette, 1 bronze keyhole cover, 1 bronze thumb turn, 1 iron mortise lock with bronze faceplate and 2 working keys, 1 bronze strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knobs. All bronze parts are solid bronze not plated iron. The lock is reversible and could accommodate either a right or left swing door. All bronze parts have lovely. Aesthetic(Eastlake) style designs consisting of flowers, leaves, wagon-wheels, beads, and various geometric shapes. We found the parts with a rich. There are a few small. Dents on the strike plate, but otherwise, all parts are in great shape with no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, gouges, or deep scratches. The details are sharp and show few signs of wear. The lock was opened, inspected, and greased to function more smoothly. Penn Antique Restoration. Antique Cast Bronze Door Set w/Knobs Plates. Lock. Heavy-duty. Commercial-grade hardware made by, The J.B. Schroder Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio sometime during the first half of the previous century. It consists of 2 bronze knobs, 2 bronze escutcheons, 1 bronze mortise cylinder with a bronze anti-theft collar, 1 steel mortise lock with bronze faceplate, 1 brass strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 split spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knobs. All bronze parts are solid, heavy, thick, cast bronze, not flimsy stamped bronze or plated iron. The lock is not reversible. And it could only accommodate a door that swings away from the room/building, towards the right. If your door swings towards the left, you could still install this set, but you would have to install it upside down, with the knobs on top, and cylinder ... moremortise on the bottom. The mortise lock is locked by pushing the bottom button on the faceplate. And unlocked by either pushing the top button or using a key. Once locked, the door could only be opened by turning the knob on the interior side of the door, or by using the key on the exterior side of the door. This is a very convenient feature for the person inside of the room. No more locking and unlocking to let someone in. Simply turn the knob, open the door, let someone in, close the door and it's already locked. To disable the auto-lock feature, simply push the top button. We found the cylinder mortise without a key. Without a key. We are uncertain if the cylinder works. You could take it to a local locksmith, who could rekey it for under $20. If it is not functional, you could also buy a new cylinder for the same price. When we salvaged the set. The long, thin bolt which inserts into the lock through the small hole above the latches on the faceplate of the lock, to secure the cylinder mortise, was missing. Listing this evening a fantastic entranceway double door with one awesome original amethyst glass panel and one clear glass panel removed from a Back Bay of Boston Brownstone building back in the 1970's and stored ever since. For those of you unfamiliar with this type of door system. The door on the left is usually opened to gain entry. The door on the right is generally held closed with latches on the top and bottom and not opened except to bring in large pieces of furniture or other large items. The condition is excellent for doors of this age. The original brass mail slot disappeared when it was removed from the building. The doors are 83 1/4" tall and 1 3/4" thick. In the pictures it appears that one door is taller than the other but that is not the case. They are an original matched pair, I just couldn't get them to ... morestand up correctly in the snow. Tempered glass and the surrounding lites are beveled. The original, center lite was replaced with this one at some point. When it was replaced, the previous owner also replaced the molding that surrounded the glass with some thin strips of wood, not real molding. We could remove these strips, and make and add molding similar to what the rest of the windows ... morehave. Hardware: This door was originally a part of a pair of double doors. I'm not sure what happened to the other door. But the two were separated at some point. The other door had the knob and lock installed. And it was the one that was most frequently used.
