These are two very old boxes. One dates to the 1800's. The other is from the 1950's. The first one is a J& P Coats Best Six Cord Cotton For Hand And machine box. It measures 6.5 by 3 inches. it does not have the thread in it but it does have the original tissue overlay inside the box and as an extra special bonus it has a hand made sample of button holes on a piece of cloth with a brown hang tag staating that this was made by Carrie Businbarrick. 12 years old No 88, the year was 1889 Wolf River Valley Fair. Even the tag has a date of 1874 along the hole. The bow has tears along one end on both the box bottom and the lid. The corners on that end are split. It still displays well. The other box is empty but held Chic Pinking Shears at one time. It is a very retro pink and gray and measures 7.5 by 3 inches. It has paper wear along ... morethe edges but the corners are good. Both boxes would be great additions to your box or sewing collection. The country fair button holes make this a great find. Both boxes have great graphics on them. This chandelier or porch lamp c.1900 has four panels of frosted slag glass and is made of brass. It has a wonderful time aged two tone patina and it appears to have never been put in place or wired. The design is all hand chased and hanging chain is in the form of wrapped string or twine. All four of the glass panels are intact but each is chipped around edges as they were all hand cut. Quirks& Considerations: There is a metal cover in the place where 3 raised panels sit on the opposite side of the door. There are gaps approx. 1/8" between the hinge stile and the rails and panels. The gaps are filled with wood putty. Which is starting to crack and chip. Causing the gaps to be more visible. All of the molding around the glass on the interior side of the door was replaced by a previous owner. The width of the door was unevenly cut by 1/8" at some point. This is a wood oval beveled glass entry door. I measures 31 3/4" x 78 1/2" x 1 3/4" It has a 1 1/4" oval beveled glass window. It is painted on the exterior side and has never been stained or painted on the interior. It is in good overall condition with typical dings for its age. It does not come with hardware. The hardware is being sold in a separate auction. The door was originally set installed with surface hinges and has a right hand swing. Antique Oak Arched Entry Door W Yale Hardware Brass Knocker Hinges Quarter Sawn This door came from a recent estate that we bought. I found it in the loft of a barn. The best I came up with was it was taken out of the house when it was remodeled in the early 70's. and stored in the barn. The original house was over 100 years old, I don't think the door is that old. I will have about 20 more old doors from the same loft listed eventually. All I did with the door was clean it off with some Murphy's soap, nothing else. The lock is marked Yale on the jam side of the door. If your looking at this then you probably know more about it than I do. So if you have questions please ask. The door is not perfect. It's old and has some character, there are a few scratches, dents etc. that I am sure can be restored with no problem by someone ... morethat knows what they are doing. I did have someone that works with wood look at the door and he told me it was quarter sawn Oak. In the Pictures I showed the measurements the best I could so you would have an idea of what you are working with. 2" thick 80" Tall 40" wide The shipping was a challenge. Here is a great old painted entry door w/glass that was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's or 30's. All of the hardware is included: 3) surface-mounted hinges and complete lockset(minus key) This type of door is really not well-suited for exterior use. They were typically found inside of a covered porch or entry as this one was. The glass pane is fully intact with no cracks or breaks. It is flat glass with no bevels or ornamentation. Both sides of the door are painted, one side is white and the other has a faux-finish that's supposed to look like wood. There are a few nicks and gouges throughout, but these could ... moreeasily be addressed if the door was to be painted. There is also what looks like a longitudinal crack on the bottom rail(it shows on the white side, see pics) as well as a crack near the bottom of the latch-side stile(see pics) The lockset is complete. Munari Men's Ski Boots MS1 Size 11 Demo Rear Entry
This is a pair of gently used Munari demo boots. They are in great condition. Inner boot has little to no wear. Outer shell has some scuffing from use. But boots appear to have only been used a few times. Still the world's most comfortable boots. Easy rear entry buckles. Fairly stiff, with just enough flex. Nice and light. I wear a size 11 shoe and a size 12 running shoe. These fit me very well with one pair of cotton athletic socks. Please visit our store for more great finds!
