ORNATE BRASS DOOR PULL & ESCUTCHEON PLATE-COOK COUNTY,IL. COURT HOUSE-1870's
What we have here is a large. Ornate, cast brass door pull and escutcheon plate with lock. This outfit is about 13" tall by 4-1/4" wide and weighs in at about 4-1/2lbs. I have been told that this item came from the Cook County Courthouse when it was converted to a private office building in the 1980's. The SEAL OF THE COUNTY OF COOK, ILLINOIS is cast into the plate at the bottom. The lock is present, but just sits loose in its opening and is removable. There is a maker's logo cast into the plate on the reverse side, but is indistinct.it appears to be"Y&T" surrounded by a clover leaf shape. This piece has a heavy age patina, but will certainly polish up nicely if desired. This is a nifty bit of Chicago-Cook County history. Thanks for bidding, R.W.

1 porcelain holsum bread & 1 davidsons door push pull sign seems to be brass
have 2 different door pushes up 1 is a porcelain holsum bread that has porcelain loss as you can see in the pictures the other is a davidsons seems to be made out of brass it is a very heavy push the sign seems to be a plastic with the arrow the lettering is gone and if you look at it real closely seems to say davidsons angle food with the outline of a cake but very hard to make out for sure.Have not try to clean the metal as I think it looks great with the wear and dirt left alone,also putting on quite a few signs together tonight so please take a look as I get them up.thank you

Fabulous Large Vintage Rustic Shabby Rusty Steel Pull Handle Drawer Cabinet Door I don't know what this big boy went on originally. But he's yours to determine, now. It could be for a cabinet door, a drawer handle or even a box handle- the possibilities are limited to your imagination! Made of steel, it has the BEST rustic rusty primitive charm- if you like barn fresh- this one is for you. It's a large, heavy handle, weighing just over 1/2 lb, and measuring 6 1/4" widest and 4 3/4" tall from the top of the backplate to the bottom of the handle. There are three screw holes(I do not have screws) for mouting. The two at the bottom are 2 3/4" apart measuring from the inside of the holes, and 3" apart measuring from the outside walls of the holes. The holes are 1/4" diameter. You can see the hint of a very ... moreworn, old copper colored finish on the steel. Mostly worn, and a layer fo surface rust has taken over where the metal is exposed. It's surface only, with no holes. The handle could use a little lubrication- it rotates, but you have to provide a little assistance/force that's minor to get it to move. 1960s(?) Coca-Cola Push/Pull door decal - Nr Mint Condition!
Pictured and for sale is an extremely nice 1960s(my guess) Coca-Cola push/pull door decal. It's unused and in beautiful condition! Apparently the backing is to be peeled off and the decal affixed to glass so the"pull" side is visible. Dimensions are about 5 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. A nearly perfect item!

Vintage early 1900 Bronze Door Pull and Push Plate
Dimensions: 17-5/8" x 3-3/4" Weight: 7 lbs together. These items come from the University of Wisconsin and were sold as surplus. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair Antique French Brass Pocket Door Pulls. Antique. Arts& Crafts style, pocket door pulls made around the turn of the previous century. They are made of stamped steel and were originally brass plated. Most of the brass has remained, but there are a few spots were it has worn away giving them a nice, distressed touch. The pulls were salvaged from central Missouri. At the point of salvage. The pulls were found dirty, lacquered, and heavily tarnished. Since then, we've cleaned them to the best of our ability, trying to preserve as much of the brass plating as possible. There are marks inside of the recessed"cup" areas that appear to be scratches. But they were actually caused by the manufacturer during production. Otherwise. Donaldson Art Sign Company The Donaldson Art Sign Company in Covington and the Donaldson Lithography Company in Newport can be traced back to a partnership between William M. Donaldson and Henry Elms. These ... moretwo entrepreneurs began a small lithography business in Cincinnati on August 10. 1863. By the end of the first year of operation, the firm owned and operated seven hand printing presses. With the death of Mr. Elms in 1872, the business became the sole property of Donaldson. Kentucky in 1898, and was housed in the old Duber Watch Case Company facility(6th and Washington Streets) The company flourished in its Newport location. This is a great set of eight(8) bakelite drawer pulls from the 1930s or so- sleek round shape with rings on the front and a great butterscotch color! Perfect for finishing that restoration project! These are in excellent condition. There looks like small chips on the edges but there are no chips- they look to be manufacturing flaws? At any rate. They look like they could be lightly sanded to make them smooth again. They measure 1 inch in diameter. They are 3/4" deep and 7/16" diameter at the screw end.
