The set consists of 1 bronze pull consisting of 2 square, back plates and thumb latch; 1 round, bronze, mortise cylinder plate; 1 octagon-shaped glass knob w/brass shank;1 bronze rosette; 1 brass thumbturn; 1 steel mortise lock with a bronze faceplate; 1 bronze mortise cylinder with 1 working bronze key and bronze anti-theft collar; 1 bronze strike plate for the door jamb; 1 2-piece, threaded spindle to connect the knob; and 2 brass bolts and washers, and 2 iron nuts and washers to secure the pull. All parts, except for the pull were made by, Russwin" of New Britain, CT sometime between 1900& 1920. All brass/bronze parts are solid, heavy, thick, cast ... morebrass/bronze, not stamped or plated iron. The lock is fully reversible and could accommodate the swing of any door. We found the parts with a nice. Rich, patina, which we opted to leave. There are a couple streaks of white paint on the handle. But the rest is tarnish. The beauty of the parts are only matched by their superb condition. All parts are in fine shape with only the light nicks and scratches. That you would expect to find on century-old hardware. This has a smooth darken appearance with traces of light smooth surface rust and spots of old green paint. If you lightly ... morewipe this down and give it a clear coat it will retain its patina for many more years to come. This would work great on windows or screen doors or on drawers. This is well made and nothing like the cheaply made imports of today. Vintage Holsum Bread Metal Push Pull Sign Handle Door
Vintage Holsum bread push/ pull door handle probably 40s/50s. It seems to have been used very little because all the paint is still there and the colors are bright. The chrome has a number of scratches on it and the spreader bars have some rust. Check pics.The spreader bars are adjustable and can be removed. It is embossed Point O Purchase Dallas, Texas on the back. The handle is 5" wide& 33" long. Item is in as found condition. Would make a great addition to any collection. ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU LETTER BOX WITH DOOR PULL AND A DOOR KNOCKER
The letter box and the door pull has a Rd No. 505417 which I believe is for 1908 and I believe the door knocker is the same period and came from the same door. The knocker has the letters JGB and No 639 to the back. Both were I believe silver plated at one time but are now showing a lot of brass. I guess the rest of the plate could be removed leaving brass or they could be re-plated or just left. All the wear has been natural wear and there are no signs of of wire wool or other abrasives being used. The letter box may need a new spring and apart from a couple of nuts every thing there including bolts and knocker stud which is secured by one of the bolts. Knocker size just over 21cm long. Letter box and pull just over 20cm wide. Any questions please ask.

Rare Original Vintage Tin Coca-Cola Door Pull Handle Dec 25 1923 Bottle Date Here's one that I have never sold before. What I have is an original(not a reproduction) Tin Coca-Cola piece that I was told is a door handle. I wasn't sure, as the 4 tabs that come out the back are not flat- like screw mounts would be- they are parallel to the side of the bottle- each one has a hole, but each one also has a little lip at the hole- as if it attached onto something else? I bet you know more about it than I do. Measuring 6 1/4" tall by 1 7/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep, it weighs under 1/4 lb, as it is made of tin. The finish is gold- and I do not see any other color in the wear spots at all- it appears to be original to me. As you can see, under the logo is, Bottle Pat'd Dec. 25, 1923. From what I researched, Coke used this bottle ... moredesign until 1938. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition. There's wear to the gold finish in spots all over- with the two larger spots(1" and less) on the very bottom front of the bottle, and the top left edge of the neck. The body finish wear are very small spots. The backside does not appear to have ever been finished, and it has a layer of surface rust all over- it's surface only, with no eat throughs, thick spots etc. The top and bottom of the bottle tabs that come out of the back are a little ripply on the very rim- small and minor, and you cannot see it from the front. Not big enough to interfere with however this is supposed to mount, either- see photos 13& 14. There's very light isolated spots of surface rust on the front spots where the finish is worn- it is very small and light so you have to look closely for it. I tried to do research on this one, but the only thing I came up with were cast iron handles- and they were even different in style at the back- with more reflecting later deco era bottles, not early like this one.
