VINTAGE Door Push Plate excellent Victorian brass bronze 2 pounds
This item is an excellent example of a Victorian Door Push. 13 1/2" TALL X 3 1/2 WIDE. Solid and heavy. Looks like a French theme design with a crown on the top. There is two screw holes for mounting which may have been modified as the are not the same size. The bottom made be missing a small detail piece but the hole is filled- see all pictures. The back has a 601 stamp-not sure what this represents. The best example of a bronze door push that I have ever seen. Buyer pays $25 shipping to Canada or the U.S. do to the weight of the item. I salvaged these from a very old door that was attached to a house that was built in 1933. I am not an expert. But it appears that these are much older. Antique Brass Doorknob Back Plate, Door Knob, Half Circle Moon
Brass ornate doorknob plates. All five are identical. They measure 11" long and 5.5" wide. The hole is 2 1/16" diameter. One has a small hole in it from a previous installation(see pic) I do not know the exact age but they were with other door hardware that are antiques. See my other auctions.
