These hardware items were originally purchased by my uncle in the 1930’s; but never used. He was a carpenter by trade and built many beautiful homes. I have clasiified all these items as used; since I did not buy them originally. It is possible that there is some discoloring of metals or flaws over the years. I am no expert on cleaning these up. So I am leaving everything in“ as found in the attic” condition. Let me say again this item shows no wear or use. Everything is being sold as is. So look close at the pictures. I salvaged these from a very old door that was attached to a house that was built in 1933. I am not an expert. But it appears that these are much older. That is just my opinion and not a fact I am stating. Look at the photos closely for condition and as part of the description. The knobs appear to be hand hammered to give the modeled look. This is an amazing find! It was in the back of a barn at an estate/moving sale. The lady thought her uncle had once run a"general store" and presumed this was on the front door. It is quite large. Measuring approx. 16-1/4" x 4-1/16" and with a long wooden handle. There are two metal plates, one for each side of a door. Made by Sargent& Co. 3rd photo shows their mark. It weighs over 6 pounds! The piece with the handle has been repaired, but it was very well done- with some type of stabllizer on the back. Somehow, it just ads to its character and shows the age rather well. Antique Corbin Harvard Entry Door Lock Plate Knob
This set of antique brass entry door hardware consists of a large exterior door plate. One entry-sized knob, the lock, the original lock cylinder, and a used, not-antique replacement cylinder that I had in stock with keys. The cylinders appear to match. The door plate and the lock face plate are heavy castings. The face plate has"Harvard" in a semi-circle over the top screw hole and has a somewhat pinkish hue. It may be bronze, or that may be just the way it has weathered. There are some scratches on the pieces and there has been wear over the years. The knob is bent slightly askew and is not quite parallel to the shaft. The door plate measures 3 3/4" x 12" The lock plate is 1 1/4" x 7 1/2" The backset to the centerline of the knob is 3" The knob measures 2 1/2" across.

This straight line mid-century modern china incorporates carved wood pulls into the doors and drawers instead of adding hardware.
