Antique or vintage cast iron with enamel front plate Radio stove door Harwick ??
Up for bid is an antique or vintage cast iron with a white enamel plated front plate stove door. It is marked Radio. In my research. The only Radio stove I could find was made bt Harwick. It looks like the door was chrome plated. Most of the chrome plating is gone, just a little left on some of the edges. The latch is broke/missing. There are spots, stains and a chip in the enamel finish on the front plate. I pack my postcards between 2 pieces of cardboard. Then in an envelope with a tracking number, which results in a higher price than just sticking it in an envelope. This item/items as most of the things I sell. Came from an auction, flea market, estate sale or rummage sale. The large side of the hinge has a slight bend, the handle rod has a slight bend also and I don't know if all of the inner workings of the lock set are there. Rod is approximately 3 1/2" long lock plate is 5"X2 1/8" knob is 1 3/4" w X 1 1/4" d, hinge 4" long X 3 5/16 at it's widest. I will combine shipping where it is possible. Up for consideration is a very unique brass door set. This is designed for a skeleton key door. Its possible this was part of a piece of furniture also with a skeleton keyhole. The large plate fits over the key hole and the two angled pieces would mount in the corners for decor. The large piece is bent to accomodate the door it was in it appears.but not sure. Antique Door Knocker Early 19th Century Hand Forged Iron with Strike Plate
6 1/2" approx. measure from top of backplate to bottom of knocker. This early piece of hand forged hardware has at least a couple of layers of black paint which has chipped in some places to reveal some rusty surface. It will take two screws to attach to door. Offered here is a very nice BRASS ENTRY DOOR KNOB SET WITH TWO FACE PLATES AND LOCKING MECHANISM MANUFACTURED BY RUSSWIN. A QUALITY MAKER. The lock set is made of brass that has been cleaned. The brass furnishings are very nice and heavy. It looks like it would fit a door that measures at least 1 5/8 inches wide. The lock set could be polished up to a shiny bright brass finish should you choose to do so. The lock setlocksetlock set measures 6 inches wide( with brass side plate) and 3 1/2 inches tall. The diameter of the knobs is approximately 2 1/4 inches. This piece was recently purchased at a local estate sale. I am not sure how to actually take this piece apart and install it onto a door.
