Vintage Antique Set of 4 Glass & Brass Door Knobs with Rods
Up for auction is this gorgeous vintage set of 4 matching door knobs(2 pairs with stems) Each is 2" diameter. 12 sided, multifaceted glass with flower/star design inside the glass. The brass has not been polished and has it's original, beautifully aged petina. Each pair is about 6 1/4" long end to end with the stem. These came out of an old farm house and would make a stunning addition to anyone's home. There are some small scratches on 2 of the knobs but they are very minor and I have included 2 close ups to show them the best I can. The scratches are very hard to see and will most likely never be noticed but I felt I had to disclose them so there won't be any surprises. Please check out all photos before bidding. Antique Crystal Art Deco Glass Door Knobs
Vintage Crystal Door Knobs. These are the bigger bolder variety of Knobs made in this era. Four of the sets are a perfect match. These four sets are very clean with only two miniscule nicks being found and mention for complete accuracy. The other two sets are similar but slightly more oblong in shape. There is a bit of scuffing on one of the knobs in this set. The other knob has just one tiny scuff. Mentioned for accuracy, but really ultra minor. On the other oblong set. One knob has a bruise with a small chip. The other knob has a slight amount of edge scuffing and bit of a rough edge. The faces of all the knobs are clean. One knob is missing its setting screw. And another knob has a tiny bit of wiggle in its setting/shank. All told this is a lovely grouping. In very good overall condition.

ANTIQUE BROWN DOOR KNOBS AND WORKING LOCK SET WITH KEY HOLE PLATE
Most of these items came from an old Victorian home that has passed into history many years ago. This door knob and assembly is the type that attaches to the surface of the door. Not mortised in. It has 1 shaft cover and 1 key hole cover and could use a cleaning. Knob's have a couple of marks such as, paint splatter and some very small rough spots like it was dragged on ground( on the edges see photo closeup's) and on face, I do not see cracks or big chips but still works easily and will look good all cleaned up. Nice period piece. Original period (1920/30s?) Bakelite egg or oval door knobs (2 sets plus spares)
Egg-shaped or oval-shaped period Bakelite(or similar) door handles and latches/locks that go with them. The colour looks black at first but on closer inspection is actually very dark brown and on even closer inspection has a kind of swirly wood grain effect in it(I cannot capture this on camera) It's all in very good condition for its age I'd say except that two of the three"offside" surrounds have bad chips(see images) All the knobs are free of chips etc. though. The catches/locks work very soundly with good strong springs still. I've made no attempt to clean any of it up I'm afraid. There are two full sets plus some spare bits(see image) All the grub screw are present. I will include some of the original fixing screws for samples. Any questions. Item Description A pair of vintage brass door or drawer pulls in the form of Lion’s heads. Each has a threaded hole on the back to accept a securing bolt or screw and also a small indentation which I guess is to catch on the head of a tack or nail in order to stop it rotating. Approximate Size Each head is about 2 ⅞” tall by 2 ½” wide. Condition Excellent ~ no damage of any kind but there is a scratch mark on the back of one of them(which obviously isn’t seen when it’s on a door or drawer front) and. You are looking at a lot of 5 pre-owned Antique/Vintage Door Knobs. Together they weigh close to 2lbs. The black knobs do not have any cracks. But they do show some age wear and scratches. There are three heavy weight Black Glass Door Knobs that measure 2 1/2" across the top. The remaining two I believe are brass and very ornate. They measure 2 1/2" across top and are also heavy. 3 Pair Black Porcelain Antique Door Knobs with Shafts and Screws
3 pair antique black porcelain door knobs with metal shafts and screws. Each knob measures about 2 1/4" round and the y do need to be cleaned up as there's paint on them here and there that I was able to chip off with my fingernail. But I didn't try to"clean" them as I don't know how and didn't want to ruin them. The st ems a lso need to be"cleaned up" as they have some rus t on them but they're not rusted out.
