Antique German Snow Baby Readies his Lasso For a Catch Pic 10.213b
This small German snow baby is one member of the hunting party grouping that is shown in Pic 213 of my book. The figures all wear long baggy pants that hang down around their shoes. A t this time I do not know what company made them. But they were made in the 1920s or 1930s in what was East Germany. Height is 1.5" This example has quite good paint on his face. Joe Montana/Dwight Clark Signed Numbered Litho"THE CATCH" with Life Size Hand Impressions in a custom built wood frame(paid $160 for frame) This limited edition lithograph was made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the catch detailed below. I bought this piece in 1992 at an upscale sports memorabilia store in Los Altos. CA. The litho is individually signed by Joe Montana, Dwight Clark; has detailed embossed imprints of Joe's throwing hand and Dwight's catching hands, and the artist signature as well as being numbered 372 of a total of 2500. NOTE: Clark signed it on the 10th anniversary exactly. Dimensions of the framed litho are 34 X 28 X 2, litho is 31 X 25. THE CATCH! Number 372/2500. This is one AMAZING lithograph signed in gold by Football Hall of Famer Joe Montana and Super Star Dwight Clark. Clark's most memorable ... moretouchdown came in the 1982 NFC Playoffs. On January 10, 1982, against the Dallas Cowboys, the San Francisco 49ers were trailing 27–21 in the final minute of play to advance to the Super Bowl. Clark leaped and caught a six-yard pass from quarterback Joe Montana in the back of the end zone to give the 49ers a 28–27 victory. That play, one of the most famous in the history in the NFL, has been immortalized as"The Catch" Clark finished the game with eight receptions for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. During the 1981 season. Coach Walsh had Montana and Clark routinely practice the 20-yard end-zone throw after regular practice. This litho was created by AUTHENTIC IMPRESSIONS in 1992 marking the 10 year anniversary for THE CATCH which took place in 1982. A single ornate rim door lock keeper made of cast iron. The keeper will extend out from the wall apr. 3/4 inch on the outside or apr. 5/8 inch on the inside edge facing the lock. Portmeirion Botanic Garden HTF Trailing Bindweed Plant Pot or Catch Pot
This is a wonderful piece of Portmeirion Botanic Garden history. This plant pot or cache pot is in EXCELLENT vintage(pre-owned) condition. Although please note that I am NOT an expert in British earthenware. It has no cracks, chips, nor crazing that I can see. It features the floral pattern Trailing Bindweed, and has the original multi-hued butterfly(as opposed to the yellow one that was substituted for it in later editions) And has the old great seal on the bottom. The plant pot measures approximately 5" high and approximately 18" around. I suspect it may be a factory second, as the Great Seal on the bottom is off center, and there is a little white bump on the inside bottom of the pot that just won't photograph(invisible once you put something in it) I purchased it in Ludlow, England, in a secondhand store, so it is NOT new. ... moreI have used it only for display, and to keep cat toys in. It is easier to find in murky water, yet is not visible when your hand is on it. I also added a rubber padding on the back of the speargun to make it more comfortable to load. Comes complete with gun, spear, rubber power band, lanyard rope that attaches to the spear so you don't loose it or the fish, and a safety rubber hose to cap the tip. The gun comes with a safety switch as well. The gun is used with some scratches and the band is worn but it remains 100% functional. And with my little upgrades i would say better than new. Antique Victorian icebox lock catch hinges vintage cast brass ice chest hardware
I have a nice set of ornate Victorian Eastlake cast brass icebox hardware for your consideration. Includes three nice hinges that open and close smoothly. Measure 4 1/8 x 2 inches. A nice large surface rim lock with ornate Eastlake patterning. Hinged handle, and latch. measures 4 5/8 x 2 3/8 inches. It works nicely as well although there is no key for locking mechanism. As well, there was a repair on the right hinge pin. Looks like it was replaced with a brass pin. As the original would have been iron. There was a small amount of grinding marks where the repair was. Not very noticable but I wanted to make you aware. See last two pics closely. And a nice hard to find matching catch for latch. All are cast brass with no cracks or breaks. The back service panel on lock is iron and has a date June 28th 1887. Hard to read date. 5 pieces in this ... moreset. Nice set for renovated furniture, cabinet, or cupboard as well. Antique surface rim lock vintage door hardware lockset catch porcelain knob key
I have a nice old reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring feels good for reuse and works latch. Locking lever for drive gear latch engages and disengages.There is no key for dwadbolt slide although I think internal parts are intact. Box measuring 4 1/8 x 3 1/8 inches. Included are a pair of early porcelain doorknobs with cast brass necks. Brass keyhole cover, cast iron catch and 1/4 inch driverod with brass set screws.
