Each hook hangs down from the shelf or ceiling 2 3/8 inches. They are each 3 5/16 inches from hook tip to tip. Some of the finish has worn off. And there is a small casting flaw near the base of one hook. This is a nice set that would look great in your mud room or entryway.

Antique Button-Top Cast Iron Screw-In Coat Hooks
This auction is for 7 Antique button top screw-in coat hooks. These are originals dating back to the late 1800's. Not inferior reproductions made in China that sell cheaper but have the screws snap off when trying to install them. Each one measures 1 3/4" H and extend 2" from wall/mounting surface. They all have a little of the original factory paint on them and very minor surface rust(dry. Not powdery) where the metal is bare, but otherwise are all in excellent condition.

Here we have a lovely antique railroad coat hook- hat rack.Tthe wood is old and cracked but when mounted with the existing screws is still sturdy on the wall. The wood measures 30" x 3 5/8" It has five nicely decorated iron double hooks connected with steel rods and thin wire caging. So of the thin wire caging is bent. The top hook sticks out about 2 1/8" from the base and the bottom hook sticks out about 1 1/4" from the base. The top rack part sticks up about 6" from the base. The rack appears to have been painted black long ago and the wood has several holes drilled in it(not original) The rack has rust and stains and wear( seems age appropriate- No damage at all to the hooks-PLEASE SEE ALL 12 ENLARGEABLE PHOTOS. I am offering on Buy It Now a unique and rare cast iron mirror from the Victorian Period. This mirror is shaped like a horseshoe and has two looped ropes on the bottom for hanging objects. There are also two hooks for towels and such. I think this mirror was most likely a man's shaving mirror since it certainly doesn't have any female appeal! The mirror is beveled and the silver is in minor cracked condition. The overall dimensions are 5.5" X 8" and the hooks stand 4" away from the wall. The backing is still inplace and held by three unusual screws. There is a hole at the top for hanging. I couldn't find any manufacturer's mark. But this is a true antique. It is painted black and the metal shows wear.
