Offered here without reserve is this early 19th century(or possibly late 18th C) cast iron firestarter with its wand. The pot. Without the lid, stands 5 1/4" high, appx 5 1/4" in diameter at its widest point. The lid is brass as is the handle to the wand. Not sure what the material is to the wand otherwise. The wand may be assembled because the end to the handle as well as the matching finial to the lid look a lot like the top screw to a lampshade assembly.
