These 22 beautiful vintage drawer pulls have never been used. I took them out of their original packaging but never used them. They all come with 3/4" mounting screws except for two of them. But those can be purchased at any home improvement store for a few cents. They are the original finish of antique brass but would be beautiful painted white, gold or in a color to use on Shabby Chic Furniture Pieces. Sold as is where is. non ebonized rosewood and brass drawer pull Early to mid 18th century drawer pulls 6 pieces total( 1 pc. is smaller; 1pc. post is short with no nut) Dangling tear drop pulls were popular throughout the late Victorian era. Typically found on Eastlake or Renaissance Revival furniture. Drawer pulls are most commonly made of brass. An alloy of copper and zinc, a tradition that dates to the William and Mary period when round drop pulls were cast. These early round or pear-shape pulls were usually flat or hollow on the back and were mounted on a thin brass back plate that often was“chased” for additional decoration. Around the turn of the 18th century the cast bail handle appeared, attached to a drawer front with cotter pins clinched on the inside, similar to the earlier drop pulls. The ends of these early bails curved inward ... moreto complete the handle. Early in the Queen Anne period the bail was attached to posts with rounded heads that accepted the protruding ears of the bail which by now were curved outward. Hanging from the inner sides of the posts. This configuration lasted for most of the rest of the 18th century, reversing itself again for Hepple white pulls at the beginning of the Federal era. Each has a threaded hole on the back to accept a securing bolt or screw and also a small indentation which I guess is to catch on the head of a tack or nail in order to stop it rotating. Approximate Size Each head is about 2 ⅞” tall by 2 ½” wide. Condition Excellent ~ no damage of any kind but there is a scratch mark on the back of one of them(which obviously isn’t seen when it’s on a door or drawer front) and. They measure about 2½” x 2½” the post on the back extends out ½” and they each weigh about 6 oz. These pulls are in excellent condition. These are four matching brass drawer pulls. They have ring pulls with rope design and the ends have an animal. Snake? on them. The number 318 is stamped on them and I believe the makers mark is a W. They measure 3 3/4" across. The ring pull is about 2 1/2" across. Please ask any questions before bidding. I am not an expert on these. I believe them to be brass as a magnet did not stick to them.

The knobs may be brass. I'm not sure. They are heavy and very well made. They measure about 1 1/2" across and 3/4" deep. I opened one to take pictures but the ten you get will be sealed. The backs read JB in a diamond and the number 10. It also says Pat. Pend. The pictures tell the story.
