I bought his drum new in the late 90s and used it as my main snare for several years. Worked amazing for all styles. Always transported in a case. It's been sitting in a closet for about 10 years so it's time for someone else to enjoy it! It does have tarnishing on the brass finish. This may be able to be polished out, but I'm not sure. The shell is still in perfect shape and the drum still sounds as great as it always did. These first versions of the Sensitone Classics look great with the vintage clip lugs and the rimshot guards. Nice Civil War Union Eagle Breastplate- Brass Hooks!-OHIO- Dug Northern Virginia
Dug in the vast. Historic fields and woodlands of Northern Virginia, this Union Eagle breastplate, which at first appears to be a standard issue plate, is actually a version produced for Ohio troops, as evident by its' hooks, which are made of brass, and not the commonly used iron(one was dinged slightly by the digger, but this, along with the greenish patina, only served to further leave no doubt that the hooks are in fact brass) The plate retains all of its' lead, and aside from a slight body bend, a shallow crack at 7:00 and a couple of very minor, old edge dings, it is an excellent specimen of this rare relic. It would make an excellent addition to any collection.
