4 Rare And Huge Russell & Erwin 1880 6X9 Brass Hinges Geisha Pattern
These antique(1880) Russell& Erwin door hinges are very rare. They are in the Geisha pattern and they are very large hinges measuring 9 inches by 6 inches. they measure about 10 inches from the top of one pin to the bottom) I have seen the same pattern in smaller hinges but never one this size. Each hinge is marked"Pat. Jan 13. 1880" and"No. 17" and"6X9" They are solid brass(could be copper but I think brass) and are about 1/4 inch thick. Each hinge weighs about 4 lbs. 15 oz. They are very intricate in design and highly unusual. The designs cut into the plates are beautiful and unique and in fine detail. One side of the hinge features a man and a woman(a Geisha I believe) The woman has an umbrella and they look to be approaching each other on a small bridge. The detail is wonderful. The other side of the ... morehinge features a vase. A bird and flowers. This side is also wonderfully detailed. They are in great condition with no damage or repair. Antique cedar box with dovetailed joints and brass hinges
For sale is a lovely antique cedar box with 4 feet. Dovetailed joints and brass hinges. There is a mountain and boulder strewn river scene on the top of box. It measures 8 inches wide and 3.25 inches tall counting the feet and almost 2.75 not measuring the feet. It is made without a latch just an indention to lift lid. It is in good condition with some light scratches and a little deeper one on the back. The inside has two small areas on lid that look like tape had been there altho it is smooth. There are 2 little black dots on inside bottom of box. Other than that the inside is very nice. You can see the grain of the cedar beautifully. It doesn't smell musty like a lot of old boxes.

Set of 4 Ornate Antique Solid Brass Cabinet Hinges- 1888 Up for bid is this fantastic set of brass hinges to add to that special cabinet. Very nice. Unique design! Heavy coats of paint have been removed. Nice patina but they could be polished if you wish. They are stamped Harden Pat. SW Jan. 31. 88. They are in very nice condition. One hinge has a scratch as can be seen in the pictures. They measure 5 inches in total length. 2 1/8 inches on the smaller part of the hinge and 3 inches on the larger part. Antique Vintage 1920s Ice Box Brass Hardware Set! Latch. Handle& Hinges! This auction is for a Antique Vintage 1920s Ice Box Brass Hardware Set! This is the complete set recently removed from an old ice box refrigerator… it includes the latch. Handle and all three door hinges! As a bonus. Even the 24 screws are included! The latch and handle hinges are about 2½” tall x 1” wide, and the entire handle is 4½” long. The back of the door hinges are about 3” tall x 1¼” wide and the front piece is about 3” wide x 1½” tall. The set seems to be for a ½” to ⅝” door thickness. The handle is the only piece marked: on its back it reads“ Pat Jul 21” There was no name on the ice box or hardware. So I don’t know who made the set. As shown in the photos, the pieces are all in very good condition for their age. They all have a ... moretrue vintage patina on the exposed surfaces and very little paint along the edges. Pair of Hinges for a Siberia Ice Box made by Simmons Hardware Co. of St. Louis They have no maker's mark. Hinges are cast brass and look to have been coated with a silver colored finish. They are approximately 6 1/2" long x 3 3/4" wide and have an 11/16" offset. They will need to be cleaned. One of the hinges has a slight bend in the back loop. Antique leaded window / door brass ring & hinges oak wood frame 17 x 17 1800's?
Window/door was given to us 30 years ago by a relative that had razed a house in Kentucky(we believe) We packed it away thinking we were going to use it in our log home but that never happened. The frame is oak(we think) It is put together with finger joints or notches. The see through window looks like glass but we do not know that for sure and are attached with what we believe is lead. The window has 2 hinges on one end and a brass ring for pulling open. We believe the house was built in the late 1800's and was torn down before 1980 and know for sure that this was from that property. But do not know if it was built with the house. It looks very old and in good condition for it's age. If we remember correctly, it was in the dormer of the house. It is dirty and could be stained. One side has a golden oak look and the other side is ... morea bit darker(see pics) We wanted to be as correct about this as possible, it has been a long time since we packed this away to remember everything about it. Three large 5 X 5 brass 5 mounting holes to a side. They need to be bead blasted to remove the paint but they are brass under all that gray paint. The back I cleaned on one is brass and the two screws for decoration are also brass. They are very substantial in size and weight. They are 1/4 inch thick at the hing pin.

Drill a hole the same width as the pin. In this example we're drilling a 1/4" hole for a 1/4" wide pin. Assemble your piece of hardware and insert in the hole. Using the needle nose pliers. Bend the tip of the pin over so that it's pointing towards the wood. Making sure that the display side of the piece is pulled tight. Nail the end of the pin into the wood. Nail the pin flat. 2 antique windows/ cabinet doors.These were taken out of the attic area of an old house that a relative razed years ago. We have had them in our possession for about 30 years. They were in the same area of the house but we do not know if they were side by side or separate in the room. We are selling them as a pair. They look like glass but I do not know that for sure. They look leaded but again. I have no way of knowing.is there a way to check) The frames are in good condition and are put together dove tail style. The wood looks like oak. Notice both window side by side, there is a bit of difference in the pattern but you have to look close to see it. One side of the frame appears to be darker than the other side. They just look like natural wood and never painted. The pull rings look like brass and the hinges are original too. They need ... morecleaned because they have been stored a very long time and some of the leaded areas may need attention, just look at all the pics very good and message us for any questions you may have.
