What I have here is a set of 6 Large Brass Ornate Hinges. As for age I can only Guess. They came out of our old home when the front door needed replaced and I did not have the heart to let the contractor have the old parts. So take a look at the pictures I did a clean up the best I could and removed 100 Plus years of paint. I had no idea they were so beautiful. Our old home was a Victorian that was 112 years old but after retiring the utilities bills alone would have been too much of an expense. Measuring a little over 3¼" from top to bottom. These offset cabinet door hinges feature a distinctive curl at each end, like commas. If I've counted them correctly there are 14 of them, even though only six showed up for the photo shoot. And if I'm measuring correctly, they are designed to fit 3/8" thick doors. On the inside of each handle is the old Amerock logo(an"A" in a circle) but nothing to indicate their age. antique glass door knob lock set. Two plates hinges that don't have pins 4 inches by 4 inches. 1 glass door knob, 2 brass lock key trim pieces, 1 door knob plate. door knobs are beautiful they turn nicely. Complete. I cut that piece off a door that was burning in a bonfire- it was a quick architectural rescue. I can't get the knobs off of the wood, so they will be shipped that way and the buyer can take it apart.

Antique door hinges made by"Stanley Works" of New Britain, CT during the first quarter of the previous century. Each hinge is made of solid, heavy, thick steel. The hinges were originally brass plated, but some of the plating wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed finish.
