Den, etc. this old wooden box makes a great addition to your décor. It is solid wood and ONLY the bottom of the box is plywood. The box was made here in the USA and the manufacturer's seal/logo is printed on the bottom of the box as shown in the pictures. The photos also show you just how clean and well preserved this old box really is. There are NO chips or cracks in the wood anywhere. And the brass hardware(hinges& hasp) ... moreare clean and NOT tarnished. ALL joints are still tight. You will be able to securely store or display anything collectible in the box. And it would make a GREAT container for lures and other fishing paraphernalia if you do sporting collectible shows. Etc. This is a set of 9 vintage brass drawer pulls. Each one consist of two pieces. A pressed metal mounting piece and the brass handle that inserts into the mounting pieces. They are marked N16321 KBC on the inside of the brass handle. A magnet sticks to the pressed metal. It does not stick to the marked middle handle piece. They all appear to be in good condition with normal tarnishing. There are two inside corner hinges marked Wint. P. B3889. A magnet does not stick to them, I believe they are also brass. These 58 hinges were removed from an old bungalow. We are guessing they date from the 60s/70s when the kitchen was last remodeled. Dull brass finish. Definitely not in perfect condition. Marks. Up for auction is a beautiful old mid century wooden picnic basket. It is made of 2" woven split(maple? With a solid wooden lid, and bent-wood handles. The lid has brass hinges and a band for holding picnic cutlery. It measures 18" in length x 12" deep x 10" in height. The wood is in perfect solid condition, no splits nor cracks. There is some discoloration on the outside bottom which I believe can be easily removed by a good scrubbing. This was in my Father's collection of many. Many things all stored in the attic and barn. They were made by several companies. It is working properly& I put a drop of sewing machine oil in it. They are no longer using doors with glass inserts when installing more in a post office- for security purposes. Therefore these are now collectables. The decorations on the front are raised(they actually stick out) so I am unsure if they are carved, but it is all hand made and painted and features very intricate details. Unsure of the age/time period of the piece. Looks to be early-mid 20th century but I am not an expert. All the brass shows nice patina indicating it does have good age to it. The piece stands on its own with its own feet, but one side beam is missing on the bottom, back right side(see ... morephoto) Still stands securely on its own, and this could be easily repaired or the feet removed to make it a flat bottom. Overall in good condition, with mild paint chipping but I can find no major flaws aside from the missing piece on the bottom. Tansu measures about 36" high. 18.5" across and about 12" deep. This would make a wonderful gift or addition to add to a collection that has a great classic Japanese style to it. Awesome antique/vintage tin coal or kindling scuttle box with brass hinges and handle. This is a unique piece that I picked up at a local estate and I haven't come across anything else that's exactly like it. It's in overall good condition for it's age. With some pitting to the tin. I believe this will look even cooler if you sanded it down and refinished the piece. It's up to you! Please examine the pictures carefully. It measures 14 1/2" high to the brass handle, it measures 11 3/8" to the top of the tin, and it's 9 3/4" wide by 14 1/4" deep. Great display piece! Thanks for looking!

Antique Matching Set of 3 Large 4" x 4" Victorian Brass Plated Cast Iron Hinges
Up For Auction A Matching Set of Three 4" x 4" Hinges(auction is for the set of 3) Brass Plated Cast-Iron beautiful restored condition Cleaned. Polished, and sealed. These hinges have no looseness, or play in them when they are opened. A high quality set of hinges that have not been abused. A couple of areas the brass plating was thin so the iron shows through, these areas polished up nicely so they appear shiny silver, not noticeable as they blend in with the shiny brass as seen in the photos. The pins come out with a little effort(by hand) as they fit tightly, the other ball knob on the other end of the hinge unscrews out. The came out of a really old farmhouse off the front door, after removing several heavy coats of paint the brass was revealed! The black background on the hinges show the brass detailing even better.
