Two large barn door strap hinges with lots of character. Measures 27" long. These were used on a very old industrial building. They both have a couple of bends/tweaks to them but overall very good shape. The top one does have the edge of the hinge(not the strap part) that has a bent corner that needs hammered back out. There is even a smaller hinge included with the two large ones.

These are in good condition with a little rust and pitting with almost all of it found on the back side. These were brass plated but now most of that is long gone. The spots of bass left and the age darkened area’s gives these a rather unique look. These are very heavy duty and will handle most doors. These solid bass pins remove rather easily but you still should follow ... morea few precautions. Because these have solid brass pins so you should not use a screwdriver under the pin top to remove them but rather us a flatted nail or better yet a punch to push the pin out from the bottom. You also should not use a hammer to strike the pin top directly but rather use a piece of wood positioned on the top of the pin before hitting it. I do have one other set just like these listed but with more rust and pitting on the back side. Please check out all my other vintage and antique hinges I have listed. 2 Antique Barn Door Straps Hinges - Large 32" Wrought Iron - Blacksmith Forged
Offered without reserve is a pair of Antique barn door straps hinges. They are old blacksmith made wrought iron from the early to mid 1800's era. Because they were made by hand one is a wee bit shorter than the other. Both are approx. 32 0r 33" long by 1 3/4" wide and match(removed from the same door) If you want to actually use them as hinges I think hardware stores have garden gate hardware which use a screw in pintal piece that they would swing on or they can be surface mounted for decorative purposes. They have a nice early/ aged surface that took 100 plus years to develop, the blacksmith hammering and fine craftsmanship is apparent, they are very attractive, hopefully someone can put them to good use!No Reserve! have fun bidding!
