These are in good condition with rust and pitting with almost all of it found on the back side. These were brass plated but now most of that is long gone. The spots of bass left and the age darkened area’s gives these a rather unique look. These are very heavy duty and will handle most doors. These solid bass pins remove rather easily but you still should follow a few precautions. Because these have solid ... morebrass pins so you should not use a screwdriver under the pin top to remove them but rather us a flatted nail or better yet a punch to push the pin out from the bottom. You also should not use a hammer to strike the pin top directly but rather use a piece of wood positioned on the top of the pin before hitting it. I do have more sets just like these listed but with much less rust and pitting on the back side. Please check out all my other vintage and antique hinges I have listed. Oil has been applied but they should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection. Please take a look at the many other antique hardware items I have listed. Antique Barn Door Rolling Hinges
Up for your consideration is a pair of antique barn door hinges off an old farmhouse we bought in Vermont. They were on a door and are functional. They measure 11 1/2 inches high and 9 1/2 inches across the bottom with the overlap of the wheel on its furthest position. The groove is 1 and 2/16 of an inch and the depth is 1 and 11/16 inches. They are rusty and there is a 1 and 1/2 inch chip out of one of the wheels that I have tried to show in the pictures.

RUSTIC Pair of Hand Made Wrought Iron 15" strap hinges from pre Civil War Barn
Right off the side barn door A great pair of heavy duty hand forged wrought iron colonial hinges from a pre Civil War Barn in Upstate. New York. Barn door pictured. Each hinge strap measures approx. 15" long and 1 1/2" at their widest point. The first section of this barn was built in 1781. The barn was added to and repurposed to suit the farms needs until the 1950's. Since then. It has mostly been used for storage. This barn has some hand hewn beams that are 16" wide and outside barn board that is as wide as 18" Unfortunately this barn is too expensive to restore and will be coming down in the near future. These hinges have not been cleaned or the original surface disturbed. I was able to salvage 4 of the rose head nails that are included. Please ask any question you may have.

Up for sale is this antique lot of hinge straps. Included are a matched pair of hand wrought spear point. Measuring 23-3/8" long ecah tapering from about 3/8" wide to 1-3/4" wide and 3/16" thick. There are remnants of red paint on these. Also included is a single hand wrought strap measuring 33-1/4" long overall{32-1/8" on the strap} and measuring about 9/16" 1-1/2" wide on the taper, and 3/16" thick. 2 Antique / Vintage cast steel BARN door hinges / total length 10 inches
You are bidding on a set of antique barn door hinges. The total length of the hinge is 10 inches from the edge of the rectangular area to the tip of the hinge. The rectangular part is 5 1/2 inches x 2 inches. These hinges were salvaged off a barn near Kutztown. Pennsylvania. Pr. 24" ANTIQUE IRON HINGES-Blacksmith Forged- Barn Door Hinge-Garden-Farm-Gate
Offered today is a pair of old hand-forged hinges which are approx. 24" long and 2" wide at the widest point. Complete with 2 mounting pintles which are approx. 9" long. They are embellished with beveled edges and the classical"bean ends" These hinges were hand forged one at a time and show typical. Slight variations-i.e. there is a 3/16" difference in the length of the hinges and approx. 1/2" difference in the length of the pintles(which will be in the wall) They have been lightly cleaned and painted and show a little light pitting on the front and heavier pitting on the backside-not visible when installed. These blacksmith made hinges have forge-welded pintle holes and hot punched bolt holes-1 square and 2 round holes on each. Many possible uses around the house, farm, shop, vineyard, or garden, etc.

2 Antique Adjustable " J.E.Porter Co." Cast Iron Barn Door Hinges
2 antique adjustable cast iron barn door hinges. Marked J.E. Porter Co, Ottawa, ILL. They both have 2 door adjustments, in and out and up and down. The wheel assembly is marked Queen D16, the lower door bracket is marked D171. The wheels measure 2-3/4 inches in diameter, the overall size of the hinge 6 inches wide by 11 inches tall, the door mounting bracket is 4-1/2 wide and 5-1/2 inches tall. The hinges are in top condition with no cracks, chips or breaks, they retain some of the original silver painted finish.
