3 Vintage 25" RICHARDS WILCOX Iron Arrow Strap Barn Door Hinges
This set of 3. Old, iron strap hinges are signed" RICHARDS-WILCOX" and probably date to 1900-1950( the company dates to the 1880s) Each arrow shaped strap measures 24" long x 2 3/3" where it holds the pin x 1/4" thick. The arrow tip is 2 1/2" tall x 2" The hinge has a removable 4" x 1/2" thick pin and a 8" tall x 2 1/2" wide back plate for mounting to the building. Part of the strap overlaps onto the back plate when everything is assembled so the total length of everything together is 25" All three pieces have old black paint with hints of red trim that is flaking- my guess is that it's original although the red could have come from a barn. 2 Vintage Hand Made Metal Barn Shed Door Gate Strap Hinges Pintles 10" & 8 3/4"
Pair of vintage metal barn. Shed door, or gate strap hinges with screw type pintles. These hand made. Double sided hinges measure 10" long and 8 11/16" long. They are both 1 1/2" wide. The inside gap between the straps is 1 1/4" at the hinge. The gap will pull in at the wider ends when screws are put into the hardware. They were used on the same door and have a little of the red paint remaining. The longer hinge would be best used at the top of the door or gate. The pintels are heavy duty and measure 11 1/4" long and 3/4" in diameter. The threaded portion is 5 1/4" long and there is an old square nut at the ends. They are extra long for a thick post.

8 Antique Iron Hinges, Barn, Shed, Door, Gate, Old, Vtg, Farm Hardware, 2 Sizes
Eight old steel barn door hinges. Uncleaned with various paint and patina. Five are matching but one has an extra hole drilled in it. One of them has a bent strap but could be straightened easily. The straps for these measure 7 3/4" from the hinge point, each weighs 1 3/4 lbs. The three smaller hinges have straps just under 6" long from the pivot. One of these is frozen and will require a little"love" These are dirty and rusty but with no visible damage other than noted. Please see my other listings for more old hinges and hardware. Set Of 3 Large Antique Barn Shed Door Hinges, Gate, Primitive, Iron, Vtg, Marked
Three big old heavy door hinges. Each weighs nearly 2 lbs. These have a bend and I think they were designed to be mounted as they are seen in my first picture, with the long strap on top of the rectangular base when door is closed. None of them lay completely flat when closed like this, however, so maybe the base is supposed to be mortised into the frame. There appear to be markings under the old paint out near the point of the strap that might be PW 038, but I'm not sure. All three turn as they should but need to be lubed or have the rust worked out of them. I haven't cleaned them whatsoever and leave it to the new owner whether they should be or not. The straps are 9 1/2" long, the rectangular base is 5 1/2" by 1 3/4" Neither measurement includes the pivot/pin part. 2 Large Primitive Antique Hand Forged Iron Barn Door Grain Bin Stable Hinges
This set of 2 old iron hinges have an unusual curved design and probably were made for a stable. Barn or possibly a large grain bin. Each hinge measures 18 1/2- 19" tall x 16-17" wide when open( 8ish" when closed) is hand forged so the lengths vary and is curved into a horse shoe type shape. The curved portions are 1" wide( mostly) and the centers that meet at the pin are 2" wide. Close examination will show how the width varies, the curves flatten and the thickness wavers- and the last photo best shows the old mustard/gold color they were painted. Some parts of the flat sections are 1/4" thick, others less. These pieces are heavy( 4 pounds each) so the total weight might make shipping expensive, and I SHIP ONLY TO THE USA! Paypal preferred. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of 8" Antique Steel Surface Mount Barn Door Strap Hinges. Distressed. Antique, door strap hinges salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. They were made sometime during the first quarter of the previous century. Each hinge is made of solid steel and is painted on the exterior side. Although the hinges look white in photos, they are actually painted light grey. Both hinges are in great shape with only small nicks here and there. But no breaks, cracks, or chips. One of the hinges has some rust and pitting, which only enhances it's distressed look. Lot of 10 Rustic Primitive Vintage Hinges Barn Hinge Latch Loop Barn Find Yeh! My favorite flea market opened for the season. And I am still listing items from my antique store trip as well as the farm auction sale- there’s loooots of new items this week, and something for everyone! Here's my last farm auction barn hardware lot to list this morning. And then I have to zip out and do some treasure hunting for you! It's another lot of 10- this time hinges- all made of steel except the larger antique red one that I do believe is iron- see photos 8-9. That one has very shabby chippy and worn barn red paint with what looks like was white underneath that. It measures 9 1/2" long when laying flat and 2 3/4" widest at the hinge. It weighs just under 1 lb and the hinge moves freely and easily. Next, I have 4 smaller steel hinges ... morethat you see in photos 2-4. They measure 3 3/4" long when laying flat on the table by 2 7/8" wide at the hinge and each weighs about 2 ounces. They all move with a little force applied(not alot, though- they move) Next, I have the three smallest that you see in photos 5-7. They measure 4" long by 1 1/6" when laying flat on the table and weigh about an ounce each. The hinges move very freely and easily. Next, you see what looks like a latch loop to me in photos 11& 12. At first I thought it goes to my last hinge(like a hook and eye) but that doesn't work as this is a closed loop, and that's a hinge that goes back and forth like a door hinge, not up and down like a latch hook. This one has a mounting back that is"rounded' triangular in shape and it measures 1 1/4" wide by 2" tall and the loop is 1 1/4" long by 1/4" deep. It has a black finish and three mounting holes. Last is another favorite in photos 12-14. It's a hinge with a very Colonial style and a dark black finish with almost a pounded look to it. It measures 7 3/8" and 1 3/4" wide at the hinge end. The hinges were removed from a big door that we salvaged from Northeastern Ohio. At the point of salvage.
