Vtg Antique Light Switch Outlet Cover Lot Bakelite Gits Luminous NOS Industrial
This is a nice old lot of switches and plates. Included are 11 plastic Luminous switch plates, all sealed with one taken out of wrapping for photos. When exposed to natural or artificial light they will glow when the light is turned off. Made by Gits Molding Corporation. Chicago. Each has an embossed moulding border with grooved texture and four lines down the center. Original mounting screws are included. Also in this auction are 10 bakelight on/ off switches. These are circular and measure 3 1/2" in diameter. The switch is marked 10A/ 125 V by the'ON' label, and the back is embossed UND.LAB. INc. Insp. H-10691. They have never been used and may have some normal storage wear. Please see photos for a visual description, and inquire with any questions you may have.

This is one of my single toggle light switches. The switch measures 3in/7.5cm Sq. The switch is an original. Genuine Edwardian brass switch with a band& cross pattern around the outer edge. On the back is the ceramic Crabtree fitting. On it reads Made In England. Crabtree Patent, C2001 7141. Vitreous. I have had this light switch for some years now( others) have never got round to fitting it. I have other light switches similar& of the same age. This is a rare find these days as there are very few original switches like this around. This is a super old light switch in good condition. Just in need of a good clean. CLASSIC ANTIQUE BRASS READING LIGHT/LIGHTING TABLE/DESK LAMP / 3 WAY SWITCH
ANTIQUE BRASS TABLE LAMP This is an antique brass table lamp that stands 25 1/4" tall with a 5 1/4" diameter base. Needs some TLC. Surface is dull, but works well and is a beautiful antique lamp with nice lines. There are 2 minor bumps on the base and one near the bulb. Normal wear for its age. Needs a new lampshade and a piece to hold it on. This lamp takes a 5 1/4" long 3 way bulb(not included) I tested the lamp and it works. It has a nice stamped twisty metal decoration around the top. The lamp has a 3 1/2" diameter at that point. Please see photos. The plug is a little worn around the edge. And you might want to replace it. The wire is 60" long and in good condition. This is an antique lamp that has had a lot of use and needs some work. But the cost is reasonable and the lamp looks great on a table casting a soft ... morelight over the room.
