This is one of two antique Dim A Lite socket dimmers I am listing today. I will include an old EAGLE Pat No 738 antique plug in adapter with this one(it's not in the picture. This Dim-A-Lite is marked Wilt Co. Patented Nov 24-08 Phila. Penn, Made in USA 40W- 110 V. This lamp or bulb dimmer has a porcelain body with a brass shell and a brass pull chain that when pulled rotates the socket the bulb is in, and this regulates the brightness of the bulb. Antique Edison 1889 General Electric Twist Wall Electric Light Switch
This antique rotating wall switch is marked EDISON GENERAL ELECTRIC CO NEW YORK U.S.A. PATENTED APRIL 2. 1889 20 LIGHTS. If you consider that Edison invented the light bulb in 1879, this item was patented only about 10 years later. It has a porcelain base. The housing and turn knob are brass. To take the cover off you twist the knob counterclockwise. The base is 2 7/8" in diameter and the entire unit sticks out 2 7/8" from the wall. It still clicks when you turn it clockwise. The contacts could use some cleaning. But it should still work. The brass housing has 2 age cracks that go partway up the sides. The porcelain base is chipped where the mounting screws go through on the side against the wall but you would still be able to fasten it down since it is thick at that point. Buyer pays shipping. Very nice estate Perkins 4 wire light switch. It's a spring loaded switch that snaps into the settings of OFF LOW MEDIUM or HIGH. And is a larger switch measuring about 3 1/2" across and 3" out from the wall. This switch is in great condition for the age, with a little bit of wall paint and a few tiny chips to the porcelain. Antique Bakelite Plastic Switch Knights Head Bust Slider On Off Light Plate Rare
This is a very nice antique"Slider" switching plate. The Knights head and the entire plate are in fine shape. Works fine. Sliding his head up or down moves the light switch arm. Looks like some glue may be on the side of his nose. But I`m not going to pick it. I think it`s Bakelite, feels like it, has weight to it, but I can`t be sure- just don`t know. Top and bottom edges are about 1/4" thick and sides are maybe 1/8' = it`s not a cheaply made piece. Needs to be cleaned up a bit. I don`t know how old this is but it is a old plate. Vintage Chandelier Ceiling Light Fixture Brass Antique Art Nouveau Toggle Switch
Payment by palpal only. As shown an Antique Chandelier made from a Copper/Brass Alloy. The 3 socket shades were wired to the fixture. The holes do line up but stiff old fingers cannot manipulate the tiny screws. Note the flowers on the shades& the fixture. The piece is heavy at more than 6 lbs. And about 14 1/2" in diameter. The lamp is in very good restorable condition. The wiring has been replaced but the sockets have not. The other lamp in the last 2 pictures is listed separately. I retired from the U. S. Army in Sept. 1987. And for the last several years supplemented my retiree pay with ebay sales. And it is for the most part a blast.

One complete double light switch set up. With original wall plate. Pulled out of a 1906 Seattle mansion that was being torn down a few years ago, they were installed and working up to that point. Stamped brass wall plate is a little tarnished but otherwise fine. One ceramic body has a chip off the corner and one is missing two wire mounting screws. One still has the original UL sticker on it. This listing is for 3 Light Fixture Pieces. This is a very beautiful Brass finial that may have screwed onto the bottom of a chandeleir or maybe on top of an oil lamp or some other such. It is very ornate and decorative with a beautiful plant theme with green and gold leaves on top. It is 3.25 Inch Tall. There is also a small brass switch which may be a key but I think that with the threads on the inside of the end that it was most likely a switch for an antique lamp or maybe an oil lamp.
