This is a antique light switch cover made of some type of metal that is unknown to me. This switch plate was found in a house that was built in 1931. As shown in the picture there is some paint in the groves on the face of the switch plate. Should be a nice find for a collector. Measurments are 3 1/2" W x 5" H x 1/4" Depth. Screws are not included.

But I believe it would have been used on a gas lamp and would have had a length of chain attached to each end of the rocking arm to make it an on/ off switch. I have only been able to see similar ones in photos of such lamps, but this one seems to have an extra little lever attached to one side of the gas connector. This narrow, tubular, brass lever would swivel through 360 degrees if it weren't for the arm being in the way. Never come across one of these before! I have put it in the Victorian category. Antique Ritter Dental Drill/Light Engine Switch Motor Speed Foot Control
This is the foot control from a Ritter dental unit probably from around the 1920's. The unit appears funtcional although I have no way of testing it, The nickel finish is worn in spots no doubt due to the years of use. The cord looks to be in great shape as well as the rubber removable boot for hard surface floors. The boot comes off to reveal a more textured surface possibly for carpeted flooring. Unit is extremely heavy and measures 7 3/8" around at base and 5 1/2" in overall height. Worth noting my packaging skills far out weight my photography skills. Thanks for looking.

The 5 vintage/ antique brass have all been cleaned at some point and have a clear coat probably laquer finish. There are 2 single button that are marked Harveyhubbell in Bridgeport conn. and two of the doubles are same design metl thicknes but not marked These four have heavier metal and sharp corners and edges the last double has softer edges and a little thinner metal The covers have a textured surface so I think they where cleaned in a glass beader and polished before clear coat there is no damage or repaires and they are not bent overall condition is VG refinished condition. check out the other lamp/ hardware parts listed seperatly.

There are hairline cracks that are unnoticeable at the screw hole on many of the plug plates. very common for these old brittle plates from over tightening the screws Two of the switch plates also have a hairline crack from the screw hole to the switch hole. Here is neat old single-pole switch that was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's. It's made to be mounted directly to a junction box(included) since the round plate is integral. Another great item was the Tow'lescope, a towel bar that hid inside the wall until you pulled the knob to expose it. Fascinating idea.

This is an antique Armspear railroad lamp. The light has four colored lenses which are lit by an Adams& Westlake(Adlake) kerosene burner. The body of the lamp has several rusted places which can be seen in the pictures. The worst is under the burner. The lamp could have been repainted at one time. But I'm not sure of this. The four lens are intact, but some have scuffs and weather wear. I don't know much about these lamps so please send me any information you might have. Good working order and good condition with no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. The cardboard type candle cover does have some of the"wax drip" detailing with burst to the drips, which I am mentioning for accuracy. This has been re-wired with an in-line switch and outlet plug so it can be hung on a nail and placed anywhere in the home. Both the switch and the outlet plug work great.
