This is an old old switch plate made of heavy brass. There is a dolphin engraved on the front. Someone needed to readjust the screw which is why there are 2 little holes at the bottom. Rare Antique Bakelite Knob Plastic Roman Knight Bust Slider Light switch plate
This is a very nice antique"Slider" knob light switch plate. The Knights head and the entire plate are in fine shape. Works fine. Sliding his head up or down moves the light switch arm. Looks like some glue may be on the side of his nose. I think it`s Bakelite. Feels like it, has weight to it, but I can`t be sure. Top and bottom edges are about 1/4" thick and sides are maybe 1/8" = not a cheaply made piece. Needs to be cleaned. Zoom on the pictures, they are the best description. Antique Push Button Light Switch Porcelain Mother of Pearl w/ Brass Light Cover. Both in great shape for there age the switch worked when removed and the push button still moves smoothly in and out. The brass switch plate cover measures 4 1/2" x 2 3/4"and has a very slight bend but fits the light switch perfect. The porcelain on the push button switch measures 1 1/2" deep x 2 1/2" length and 1 1/2" wide, it is Marked Ideal, the mounts are 3 1/2" apart. Original Antique Bankers Desk Lamp Metal cooper Shade? Piano Light On-Off Switch
This Original Antique Bankers Desk Lamp is made of an unknown metal which is NOT Magnetic. But I say Copper Shade? because a magnetic DOES sticks to it so that eliminated many lesser expensive metals. Industrial quality and workmanship has been put into it. The shade appears to lean a bit and I haven't try to straighten it since not sure how it adjusts. This can also be used as a Piano Light On the left side on base has a RED On Button and an BLACK Off Button which works. It has a dish for coins or paperclips which is built into the base of lamp. ANTIQUE BRASS HANGING PAN LIGHT w/3 PADDLE SWITCH SOCKETS
Up for bid is an antique 3 socket brass pan light. Each of the 3 sockets has a paddle type switch. Which all seem to be workable and not broken. The pan is approximately 14" in diameter and the sockets, hang about 6" down from, the back of the pan or ceiling. Originally there would have been a threaded nipple or threaded tubing piece, that hung through the center hole of the pan from the junction box, with a finial to hold the pan up against the ceiling, but at present, that is missing. This piece is an easily replaceable piece and can be found at any lamp shop or home building center. The pattern on the pan is exceptional in detail and will be a nice lamp to hang in a restored home as well as something new, as is or polished to a bright brass luster. VERY FANCY ANTIQUE BRASS LIGHT SWITCH COVER
I found this Old Brass Light Switch Cover in an old dump while looking for Antique Bottles and Relics. The border all way around it is cast to look like Tree Bark. In each corner of the fancy design on front is a fantasy sun flower like design. Kind of a dark gray patina. I swiped a piece of steel wool on a few places on the back and it is Brass. Has a little more heavier and greenish looking patina on the back than the front. No big deal. The front looks great like it is. Antique/ Vintage Brass Eagle Light Switch Plate/ Cover Made by Dilly Mfg. Co.
This is an Antique/ Vintage Light Switch Plate/ Cover marked Dilly Mfg. Co. Made in USA. This plate cover is in great shape for it's age. There are no bends, no cracks, just needs a cleaning. A magnet didn't stick to this piece, so I believe the American Eagle is brass and you can still see some of the red paint on it and the Plate cover I believe is aluminum, you can see the silver coloring coming through under some areas that the black paint has worn off. It measures approx. 6 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide. The mounting holes are 2 1/2" apart center to center. Please ask any questions and thank you for looking!

Unusual Antique early electric switch light doorbell Pear shaped German? Bronze? This is some sort of switch. It is either a light switch or possibly a doorbell. It dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is shaped like a pear with stem and leaves. Wire is meant to pass into the top of the pear and out of the bottom. The two halves unscrew. Inside there are still some wires and a copper pressure contact thing. It came in a box of turn of the century silver from Germany. If you know anything about this thing please let me know!
