Both pieces are absolutely exquisite! One button hook has an angel with wings on each side of handle. And the other button hook is decorated with elegant flowers on both sides and engraved with a fancy letter on the one side only(see picture) The angel hook is signed"Sterling" on the side with the letter"W" in a circle(see picture) The overall measurement of this shoe hook is 7" long, 3/4" wide, and 1/2" thick. It's a set of 3 matching coat rack type hooks, antique Eastlake era with oh-so-fancy detail in the cast iron. Each hook measures 3 7/8" long by 2 1/2" tall at the hook, with a backside wall mount bracket that is 2 3/4" by 1 1/2" wide. Each one has two screw holes for mounting. The lowest hook is about 2 3/4" away from the wall the second is 5 3/4" and the top button is 61/2" from wall. No breaks or repairs. Most likely it has been painted at some point. Nice antique wooden picture frame. With a wedding photo. Although the photo wasn't the first picture in the frame, I believe it was in the frame since the wedding. I had to take it apart to clean the glass and replace a nail to hold the back on. Overall size, from tip to tip is approx. 13 1/2" tall and 11 1/2" across, and the picture size is approx. 6 1/2" by 8 1/2" Old brass screw hooks, original glass has a bubble, but has some scratches at the bottom, and original wood back. Nice old, clean condition, showing minor wear, and wear to the gold gilt inside frame. Overall shows well.

My research shows J W Court and his partner were awarded a patent for a curved fishook in 1864. The Court Co. is sometimes refered to as the"forgotten fish hook maker" The box label highlights the award the J.W. Court Co. won at the 1883 Fisheries Exposition. These hooks are believed to be from that 20 year approximate time period. The auction is for the six(6) hooks shown. A color photocopy of the box label/ top will be included. Neither the box itself. Antique Georgian Gold Repousse Garnet Flower Earrings kidney wire hooks
Gorgeous antique Georgian gold and garnet earrings. They are not marked but tested for at least 10k gold. This was determined by acid scratch test and metal was not cut into so they may be heavy plated. The kidney wires are bent but can still be worn. The pair is in the condition I found them and will leave up to new owner to polish/clean. The measurements without the wire are 1-1/4" by 3/4" and they weigh a combined 6.9 grams. vtg lot 8 antique decorative metal hardware door dress door hat hooks parts
Up for auction is this great lot of 8 dress hooks. I have not attempted to clean these and they have a great older patina. They are antique and have great detailing. They appear to be made of some ferrous material. They are quite sturdy. The hooks each extend 3 inches from the wall( the longest portion of the hook) These are from an estate in Lexington. MA.
