A lot of vintage fly fishing items used to tie flys. Hooks. Feathers,furs, etc. The paint I am sure is no good but the bottles are cool and all the items look good. The spools of thread are cool and old also. The feathers and furs look good. One small part(a couple of items) smells funny so I put it in a separate bag. I don't think it it the items inside(duck feathers) just the small paper bag. But it is original container so I left it as it is. I don't know anything about fly fishing so I can't answer technical questions. The stuff was just in a container I bought. I am not a"super seller" I just hate to throw this out if someone wants it. The lot can be used to start a hobby. Or if you fly fish I am sure you can use this stuff, or if you just want the old items to use as decoration of your man cave area. The furs and ... morefeathers look as new, so do hooks but all are vintage. The feathers float in the air like goose down, they are not matted but to me seem excellent. Most are labeled. One of the feet on the bottom looks as though it got wet at one time. It is a very nice piece.

The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! Oh this one is sooo cool. Coming out of the barn and on the rack with all the iron hayrack stuff(yes. There's me, standing amonst all the men while the women are sifting through the china and glassware! I found this one. I don't know exactly what its function used to be- maybe for ... morehanging tack, maybe to hang something tool related- I don't know, but what I do know is that it's old, it's hand made and it's drop dead gorgeous. Perfect for mounting on your wall- it will work as an herb dryer, candle hanger, linen hanger- the possitilities are limited to your imagination! Made of solid wood- you can just see the remnants of old green paint- it's on the one side that has the screw holes mostly- with very little seen on the rest of the piece if at all. I realized when looking at my photos now, that I have the little hangers slanting down in my photos- if you want them slanting up, the mounting hole/green end would have to be at the bottom. Made of solid wood, wth the straight arm hooks mounted in like pegs, the base measures 23 5/8" tall by 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" thick(back piece of wood only) There are 12 rustic wood peg arms, all measuring 1 3/4" long by about 1/2" diameter. Up for auction are four antique architectural wall mounted metal double hook recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It has a large primary hook with a smaller hook underneath. This can be screwed into a wall and has two mounting holes. Screws are not included. It has nicely detailed acorn finials. Circa late 18th to early 19th century. These pieces were found in Eastern Pennsylvania and are being offered just the way we discovered them. They are completely hand made(by the local town blacksmith no doubt) and the original nuts can still be removed by hand.
