(7) Antique 24 7/8" Pointed Barn Strap Hinges 1700s - 1800s ?
Up for auction this week we have a set of(7) vintage barn hinges. These vintage hinges probably date back to the 1700- 1800s? They measure 24 7/8" long. There are 4 mounting holes on each strap. Some still have the mounting hardware still attached. The wooden doors where burned in a fire. They are all bent to a degree some more that others. What you see is what you get.

Antique cedar box with dovetailed joints and brass hinges
For sale is a lovely antique cedar box with 4 feet. Dovetailed joints and brass hinges. There is a mountain and boulder strewn river scene on the top of box. It measures 8 inches wide and 3.25 inches tall counting the feet and almost 2.75 not measuring the feet. It is made without a latch just an indention to lift lid. It is in good condition with some light scratches and a little deeper one on the back. The inside has two small areas on lid that look like tape had been there altho it is smooth. There are 2 little black dots on inside bottom of box. Other than that the inside is very nice. You can see the grain of the cedar beautifully. It doesn't smell musty like a lot of old boxes.

This is the complete set recently removed from an old ice box refrigerator… it includes the latch. Handle and all three door hinges! As a bonus. Even the 24 screws are included! The latch and handle hinges are about 2½” tall x 1” wide, and the entire handle is 4½” long. The back of the door hinges are about 3” tall x 1¼” wide and the front piece is about 3” wide x 1½” tall. The set seems to be for a ½” to ⅝” door thickness. The handle is the only piece marked: on its back it reads“ Pat Jul 21” There was no name on the ice box or hardware. So I don’t know who made the set. As shown in the photos, the pieces are all in very good condition for their age. I found this old. Wooden& brass, 6 hole case in a local Antiques Store. It was in the Medicine/Apothecary Dept. I beleive that it carried syringes, medicines, needles ect. I have put my own supplies in it. I added the 8 brass corner ends. And a peronalised brass name plate. Which is screwed in, and can easily be replaced with one of your own. Antique leaded window / door brass ring & hinges oak wood frame 17 x 17 1800's?
Window/door was given to us 30 years ago by a relative that had razed a house in Kentucky(we believe) We packed it away thinking we were going to use it in our log home but that never happened. The frame is oak(we think) It is put together with finger joints or notches. The see through window looks like glass but we do not know that for sure and are attached with what we believe is lead. The window has 2 hinges on one end and a brass ring for pulling open. We believe the house was built in the late 1800's and was torn down before 1980 and know for sure that this was from that property. But do not know if it was built with the house. It looks very old and in good condition for it's age. If we remember correctly, it was in the dormer of the house. It is dirty and could be stained. set of 3 vintage antique STANLEY door hinges '22 demo'd from 1930's building
This listing is for a set of 3 pieces~ TWO 4-inch STANLEY door hinges and ONE larger hinge w/a hook-like thing. Each 4" hinge says"PATENTED MARCH 14. 1922, MADE IN USA" And the larger one with the protrusion reads"PATENTED OCT. 28, 1913, MARCH 14, 1922, MADE IN USA" I do not know exactly what the one is w/the"hook" or protrusion-type thing. Was it for security of some kind? I don't know. These pieces came out of the demolition of a 1930's building in Southern California. This, as well as a few other listings of hardware, is what I have left that I forgot about in my garage until this past weekend. Very cool find if you're remodeling or sprucing up an old home and want to keep it original. As you can see from the pix.
