I have an unusual pressed or stamped. Nickel plated steel lot of 8 old door latches for your consideration. These could be in nice reusable condition with a little cleaning and lube. All the springs seem to be intact and work. A little sticky on a couple. I am uncertain of there age although my guess would have been from a wooden built in cabinet or cupboard door from the late 20's early 30's. They have a deco pattern on handles. Nicely, these appear to have had a flush strikeplate application so you will be able to find something that would work more easily. Might be a nice addition for a reworked piece of furniture or cabinet/cupboard door. measure 1 7/16 inches from ctr to ctr of mounting screw holes. Description Gorgeous Bronzed Patina Antique Black Dusted Finish Drawer Pull. THESE ARE SOLD INIVIDUALLY! THERE ARE only 3 AVAILABLE. Beautiful patina and lovely leafy floral European/French design on these gorgeous pulls. Lots of intricate detail and beautifully cast. Each pull has a hinge that the bail pull moves freely on. It has a single hole center-insert with collet style attachment. The back is stamped F55/F56. I will include the original attachment screw and the brass tack pin with each pull for the small hole to attach the back plate securely. Very intricate fancy detail on these unusually casted old pulls! Antique Brass Framed Oval Mirror, Tray, Original Hardware to Hang, Stands Alone,
This is my Great Aunt's mirror. I found it in her attic after she sold her home. So I do not know the manufacture date. It is in very extremely good condition and I do not believe she ever used it. Very well made, the burgundy red felt is in surprisingly good condition. It measures 13" in length, 9" wide, and stands 1.75" tall when standing on it's feet. The mirror has 3 usage options, as it has 4 plastic feet mounted to the bottom, sitting flat it makes a sturdy tray. It has an arm similar to a standing picture frame. Also it has built in hooks so it can be hung horizontally or vertically.

Antique Late 19th Century Walnut Secretary Desk Original Hardware England
This antique secretary in solid walnut and burled walnut veneers came to us from England c1880. It is in beautiful condition and boasts three adjustable shelves(spaced at 2 ½” apart) in the upper unit along with the original glass front doors. There is a key for the upper cabinet and it works in the lock. But the locking mechanism does not work(missing the catch) There are some surface scratches to the bottom of the upper cabinet and also to the writing surface. Solid brass teardrop knobs complete the drawers which vary in depth(top at 4 ¾” middle at 6 ½” and the bottom drawer at 8 ½” Drawer fronts are a burled walnut veneer in excellent condition. Overall height is 85 ½” and the bottom section is 36”w x 19 ¾”d with the pull down substantial writing surface at 35 ½”w x 23”d(there are narrow panels on either ... moreside of the lower unit that pull out and support the writing surface) There seems to be some very slight delamination of the burled walnut veneer on the pull down panel– this is not noticeable unless scrutinized up close and should probably be left as is(refer to photos) as it does not affect the integrity of the piece. There are some slots for mail and smaller drawers as well that have the original brass knobs. The upper section is 34 12”w x 9 ¾”d. It comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport. Up for auction are 2 antique cast iron register grates. These were both used as floor grates. One of them has ventilation control panels. The other one does not. Grate#1(with vent control panels) measures: Top side outer dimensions: 13 7/8" x 11 7/8" Bottom side dimensions that would fit into the cutout portion of the floor: 12" x 10" The vent panels currently do not open. But they do move, leading me to believe that with some minor dis-assembly and cleaning, all should work. No missing parts or cracks anywhere. Fair amount of rust. Sandblasting or wire brushing will be necessary. Antique Reading Hardware Co. art nouveau door knobs, door plate, 1
This is an antique door handle thing that has some issues. The door knobs are black and could use a cleaning. I'm guessing they are japaned metal, but I'm not sure. The brass plates are rectangular, about 5.5 inches tall and have an etched pattern that looks well before art deco in age. They have been painted, not sure what you can do about that. The door opener contraption thing is marked R.H. Co. and it works, not a locking contraption, just opens the thingy. As you can see it's an odd oval shape. The biggest problem, besides the paint is that the guard plate that goes on the edge of the door around the opening thing is completely broken. I'm not sure you can remove the rest and just put another edge plate on it. But it looks like it was etched as well. Also, one of the door handle plates has a slight bend to it, I imagine ... morethat's not a problem though. This will be more clear than the digital photo shows. The high bidder is to pay for shipping. We're in the Northwest so the further you are away the more it could cost, sorry, the postage rates have been high. Interesting lot of old doorknob rosettes escutcheons for your consideration. I am not sure of what there original use was for because of there smaller size. I am guessing they were an early doorknob application from entry doors in homes. They might have been an early furniture backplate as well. Could be used either way I suppose depending on your need. No manufacturing marks. There is a very small amount of original copper Jappanning still evident on a couple of these which I think were there original finish. There are ten in this lot measuring an unusual smaller size at 1 1/2 inches across. Center holes are 3/8 of an inch. large enough for a standard 1/4 inch mortise driverod. These are in very nice condition. All the seating cleats are intact with no break or cracks. These would work nicely on cabinet or furniture resoration as well. Nice lot of four matching cast iron doorknob keyhole backplates for your consideration. these were aquired with locksets where the lock faceplates had the bluebird or swallow pattern on them. I think these might have been the original plates for that design. Although I am not sure since I can not cross reference the manufacture catalog number on the back of each. Which is 5940. Measure 5 3/8 x 1/12 inches. 2 1/4 inch from ctr of knob to ctr of skeleton key barrel. A nice lot of harder to find Early period Victroian Eastlake cast iron backplates. All the plates are in good condition and I suspect that they might even clean up nicely to the original copper Jappanned finish, since they appear to have quite a bit of old varnish that would have protected them over the many years of service. This is a very small brass escutcheon. Measures 2 and 1/2 inches by about 1/2 inch. Has a small hole at both ends for screw. And two other small holes just under and above the key hold. Ornate. 10 cast brass Antique ornate victorian escutcheons,key hole covers door hardware
This is a beautiful set of 10 matching antique cast brass escutcheons. They were probably originally used on interior doors. Each is 7/8" wide and 1- 7/8" tall. The keyhole is 11/16" long and a little more than 5/16" across. The slot portion of the hole will accept a key that is 1/8" wide. The clear finish on these is chipped and worn. On one. It is nearly gone. There is some discoloration from oxidation. The photos were taken in natural light, so the escutcheons look a little washed out. They have a brighter brass tone, but they still look old and a little weathered. They are very nice. If you have any questions. Please ask.

Antique brass door knocker. Beautiful cast 7"T x 5"W and 1.8lbs. Maker unknown but wonder craftsmanship went into the knocker. ANTIQUE BRASS /BRONZE FURNITURE /TRUNK HARDWARE ORNATE CORNER Hardware lot of 4
This is a set of some very unique furniture or possibly trunk corner hardware pieces. They are 1 1/2" overall length and each"corner" is 3/4" long. The"stem" of the screw hole is about 1/4" and the overall height is about 3/8" They have a wheat sheave design with a great patina. There is a ELG? stamped on the back of one of them. These are a really unusual find!
