Antique Cast Iron Stove Pipe Furnace Grate Register Floor Insulator
This is an antique stove pipe floor insulator. It's called many things but that is what it was used for. In the summer the pipe was removed and the center plate put in place. They are geneally lost. It is marked Adams co. Dubuque, Iowa patented 1897. It is heavy cast iron. Postage will be whatever my cost is, no more.

Up for auction is this Gorgeous Rare 1900 Cast Iron Floor Register in working condition. It measures 15 3/4" in diameter. Stunning! Marked Manufactured by The Adams Company Dubuque Iowa Design Patent Aug. 31 1897. Inside middle piece can be removed. The flowered ring moves to allow the amount of air flow desired. Rare Multicolored Enameled Cast Iron Filigree Antique Floor Register. Rose Decor Presented is a fancy antique multicolored enameled cast iron floor register. We have never seen one enameled like this! This cast iron floor register is ornate with filigree design. It is decorated with white enamel and a lovely rose and floral decor. This looks to be the original factory enamel. This floor register will fit in an 8 inch by a 10 inch opening. There is a ridge on the underside to help it fit securely. The total piece measures 13 3/8 inches in length and 9 3/4 inches in width. There are four holes in the design to secure the register with screws. Please scroll down to view the photographs. This is a beautiful ornately patterned 2-piece cast iron floor grate or register with working louvers. Inner piece measures about 12 x 9 inches. And the outer dimensions of the outer frame are about 14 by 11 inches, frame itself is about 2 inches wide) The inner unit fits snugly into the outer frame and seems to rest in place by its own weight. I don't see any cracks or breaks in any of the unit. A great piece of architectural salvage that will look good in your restored Victorian!

Nice antique decorative cast iron floor register with porcelain surface(very unusual) The porcelain surface is dingey and has scratches and scuff marks and it has lost its sheen. It could be cleaned up and made to look much better if someone were to use a abrasive buffing wheel attachment for a dremel. This would take a lot of time but it would be worth it. The porcelain has a few very minor nicks on the face. The louvers function as they should. There is no damage to the cast iron. Overall nice looking grate. Antique cast iron wall register& heat grate in very good condition. 12" x 14" ornate Victorian grate with 10" x 12" operational register. No breaks or losses to the iron and moderate rust on one end. About 30% is in it's original japanned finish. Marked on the back of the register with 2 patent dates(Dec 22. 1885, Aug 3, 1886) The middle louver has a crack down the middle that was repaired with a brass plate long ago, and two of the screws that attach the grate to the register are missing. ANTIQUE CAST IRON SWING ARM FLOOR REGISTER GRATE -W.G. CREAMER 1869 VICTORIAN
Up for auction is an antique cast iron swing arm floor register made by W.G. Creamer NY Patent Sep 14 1869 with very decorative pattern. The swing arm opener has a brass button and opens and closes the way it should. It has no cracks and a nice patina. You could leave it the way it is or paint it any color you want. It is about 8 3/4 inches square and the round back is about 7 inches in diameter. All screw come out easily for cleaning or painting. Check pictures carefully and ask questions, thanks for looking.

Bid on this cast iron heat grate/register.Very unusual pattern. The grate measures 11-1/2" by 9- 3/4" by 2 1/4" It is made for a 11" by 9" floor or wall opening. It is made of cast iron. It has a dial on the side of it to open or close the register. This dial works perfectly. Antique Metal Floor vent Register Fresh Air / Heat Furnace Grate
Offered for auction is this antique metal vent register and outer floor edging panel. It is in good working condition. Vent case is good. It does have some light old paint, light surface rust under it and on vents. Could be sand blasted and repainted or used as is with its original old character.Outer cover measures 14 inches x 11 inches. Inner vent grate needs a 9 x 12 floor opening. Great piece for an old Victorian or Arts and Crafts home restoration.
