Well here is one of a kind. Complete! I have a 104 year old house and this double sided vent cover was used until recently in between my dining room and bedroom floor. It will come complete with both vent covers and the metal floor shroud that is fastened to each cover. It does have shut off flaps in the brown cover that work fine. The floor cutout measures 10" x 12" The top of the vent covers measure 12" x 14" maybe 1/8" shy each way) The shroud is 7" tall when both are together. It is in good condition. This weighs 11 lbs. This is a RARE find out of an old house I'm working on. Is's a Gorgeous Victorian cast iron heat register that goes between the floor and ceiling.It comes in 2 pieces of vent pipe that screw together so you can adjust the depth between the floor and ceiling. With and adjustable grate on one side and a decorative ornate grate on the other. It's cast iron, and 10" around. Depth goes from 8" minimum up to 13" for maximum depth. The grates are attached on each end of a galvanized adjustable screw together vent pipe, which allows you to adjust the depth needed to go between the ceiling and floor. It's in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The top measures 12" by 14" The bottom or insert is 9 1/2" by 11 1/2" by 2 1/2" deep. The louvers work nicely with the thumb control although there appears to be a small screw missing from the thumb control. The black paint is a bit scuffed in places but the vent is in very nice condition for its age. Many years ago, this was in the floor of an upstairs bedroom in the home of my parents as the only heat source for the second floor- the heat rising through that vent from the wood stove was it.
