1800S ANTIQUE EARLY-AMERICAN 13-PC. IRON WINDOW LOCKS-ESCUTCHEON KEY PLATES-LOCK
19TH CENTURY EARLY-AMERICAN/COLONIAL-STYLE PRIMITIVE 13-PIECES OF HISTORIC DOOR& WINDOW IRON HARDWARE- THERE ARE 13 PIECES OF 19TH CENTURY(LATE-1800S_ WINDOW& DOOR HARDWARE WHICH INCLUDES: 2) window-sash lock with one matching-fitting keeper. There is only one keeper(see pics) these are same matching iron primitive window sash locks, from the 19th century that have the appropriate and original mechanisms in back underside to turn locks and tighten securely(see pic of back underside of locks provided) they have a primitive rose-head shape screw/rivet at center of backplate on underside(see pics) these wee taken from a house in New England which was built in the early 1800s and these pieces date to the later part of the 1800s or perhaps earlier, they both appear to be in working condition and fully functional, the windowsash locks and ... morethe(1) matching keeper are in very good period condition with some surface wear, are cast in iron, are all original with no repairs, have some white paint on the bottom half of one of them, turn easily and freely, no cracks-chips-dents-or deep scratches or corrosion, not bent or warped, may have a little very light surface rust only. Each sash lock measures approx. 2.75" long x 1.25" wide x 1" tall, they each have two mounting holes at either end. The keeper is in same condition as described and measures approx. 2.5" long x 1 1/8" tall, has two mounting holes at either end, all three pieces are clean& unsoiled. There is one antique 19th century primitive iron piece which I think was part of a thumb-latch(see pics) Is being sold'as is' and'as seen' as I think that the'thumb' part had broken off, perhaps someone could use this piece for something, has no cracks or chips on remainder of latch seen, has a bit of rust, is heavy iron and primitive, and measures approx. 4.5" long. Antique Victorian Slipper Stool Wood Needlepoint Square Brass Escutcheon Tacks
I have for auction a Lovely Victorian Slipper Stool. The stool is wood. Possibly walnut and is covered with a green& cream needlepoint floral design. It is attached with attractive, square, brass escutcheon tacks. The handles of the stool are spindles. One of the spindles has damage on the center in the form of chipping, see photo 9. The stool is 18" long, 8 inches wide and is just shy of 10 inches tall. There is normal vintage wear and the needlepoint is in good condition with some light soiling and spots.
