This lot of hinges would be great for a person renovating an old house and needs some nice matching hinges. Marked 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Good old vintage cast iron is stronger and harder than the new soft stuff they use in modern reproduction hinges. Likely cast in the last 1880's to the early 1900's. The acorns are nickel on brass and it has worn some in places and the brass shows through in some areas. These have a nice smooth. Clean casting. The pins are loose and removable. These hinges are ready to go and swing for the next 100 years.

Up for auction today are two very ornate Victorian Art Deco style door hinges. The hinges are very ornate on the pins. Front and back portion that would be exposed when installed. They measure 5” by 5” when open and 1/8” thick. Total height including the pins is 8” The only markings are 5 x 5 on the backside. It appears that they were bronze/ copper plated at one time. But most of the plating is missing. There is some tan paint in spots and a little bit of surface rust– no pitting. I decided to sell these as found and let the end user clean, buff and polish to their liking. Please see photos to determine condition and ask questions. Antique Victorian Cast Iron 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Door Hinges Steeple Pins
These are Victorian-era door hinges of cast iron in good working condition. There is one pair for sale in this auction. Each hinge measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is marked on the reverse side. There is damage to the bottom of the steeple on each hinge pin. As can be seen in the third photograph. The tops are still tight to the pin. There is also a casting flaw on the edge of one leaf. It does not appear that it would affect the strength of the hinge. They have been cleaned of paint but have not been recoated and are the last of this pattern in my inventory.

This is a pair of spring loaded stamped steel screen door hinges. They are marked"Champion" on one side. And"Pat July 6 1915" on the other. Each hinge is 2- 5/8 inches wide, 3" long, and has 6 screw holes for mounting. Although they have never been used, they have some chips to the finish and some rust form being stored over the years. This auction is for three(3) antique steeple-top door hinges. I don’t know when they were made. But they were previously in a house that was built in 1924. I don’t know for certain if they were original to the house. But they definitely look like they could be. The hinges are about 6 inches long including the steeples. And the main hinge body is 3.5 inches square. The back of the hinge actually has“3 1/2 x 3 1/2" imprinted on each one. I did not remove paint because everyone has their methods of cleaning them up or not. These are off my barn which the property dates back to late 1800's. An individual hinge measures 4 1/2 inches across and 4 1/2 inches tall. Center pole measures 5 7/8 inches long. A single panel on one side of a hinge measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 2 inches wide. Hi, You are bidding on an outstanding and rare painted door from Marsh Creek Pa. The door is from the 1800's and was mounted with very large iron hinges. The hinges are painted and look awesome with the old paint chipping off. The door has the original hardware on both sides. The door is mortis and tenon joints. The original paint of yellow and green is beautiful. The painted side was the inside if the door and the other side was open to the elements as you can see it is extremely weathered. Door is 36" wide by 71" tall. The door is not square and cannot be used as a door. Should only be used for decoration purposes only, but what a beauty. The door has some cracks but is solid.
